true naga molten is an option, being a MMO player myself i do think those buttons will help but from what i read from in reviews those buttons will kind of get in the way when playing FPS type game where u need to get a good grip of the mouse and will unintentionally press the side buttons

Go try one, the side buttons definitely will not be pressed accidentally, and is not hard to execute when needed..

i'm using the imperator wit no probs.....accept the left click stuck issue...

Eh guys, I'm having problem with my Lachesis.

Each time I boot up my comp, the scroll speed settings will reset. Have to manually adjust the setting every time I turn on the comp.

Anyone know how to fix it?

another question, is a razer or any other mouse mat necessary/recommended for when using high dpi type gaming mouse

because up to now ive been using some regular optical logitech non gaming mouse and i dont use mouse surface of any kind

usually high dpi, small mousepad. low dpi, big mousepad, vice versa.

actually you choose a mousepad based on your mouse sensor too

The rubber coating will start to peel after a while since usually gamers' palm gets kinda sweaty during gaming sessions. This is definitely unavoidable.

Is there anyway to replace the coating? Or just dispose the mouse like a condom?

So far have not heard of any ways for this yet, usually people will probably change their mouse. However, although the coating comes off, most people don't really care and just continue to use it until it becomes not usable at all.
