Just a question here though for those RevHD users.
What would be the best way to migrate from Rev3.3 to Rev5.0? I always use MyBackup Root to backup all the apps (apk + data) and data (contact, sms, etc) and restore to ROM afterwards. (always did fullwipe flashing new version of ROM) Wonder what will be best method to migrate to Rev5.0 then? |

Using RevHD 5.1 since afternoon, so far so good.
Hopefully the battery efficiency will be better on Gingerbread. Somehow BatteryWidget is not working in GB, gonna look for alternative now. |

QUOTE(lehtung @ May 3 2011, 12:14 AM) hi I'm back! Your 1st question, I dun think so. Just go ahead bro.i had read through all the explanation but none give me the answer i want.. my question is, if i permroot ONLY cause i wan to use some apps but did not flash custom rom, is there any possibility to brick my phone? and why many 1 click rooting apps such as visionary was removed from the market? Second question, any manufacturer actually allow ROOTing? And the market we can access, only have free apps. Not a single paid app available there. |
