There actually are some that won't work in GB based ROMs, mostly are games, but apps should work ok.

Rey's one is modded by him, with some stuff changed like the stock theme and LCD density and extra apps.

MrGarak's one is largely stock, but with his own patches and fixes. No theming or extra apps is in his ROM.
