You should know app2sd only work with app2sd supported rom... leeddroid got app2sd patch... other i dont think so...

On the other note... Maxis is crazy... HTC Desire is more expensive then Desire S...

You can download google apps from market... You can install market and some google apps by flashing the gapps...

Cyanogen only cant distribute the rom with google application...
