One  problem I see is my wiring, since its concealed, about 10 feet length. 

Without the PVR, I dont think its a necessity to me.

Currently I use my VCR (yes still have it!)  to record, but lately, just lost interest in recording or finding  time to watch at later stage.

Hence no PVR, if needed, later, I could compromise, I think, reuse my VCR or use my media player to record (maybe).

eh..bukan rm150 shaja ke cas byond pvr untill sept 2011..r u using the old dekoder or byond dekoder?

Thanks for the suggestion, and I do think its a good deal for those who needs it.

Currently, I do only RM79 (with new increase RM89) +20 for HD = rm110, so with the above its RM150 monthly, the difference of RM40, which I dont feel is justified, at the moment, just my POV.

But I'm still annoyed why the SD channel clarity has gone worst with Byond box    Its gonna take couple of days, before I calm down, my whole household is complaining....hmmm

maybe night wont update right now i will try standby 12.20pm

i find the astro PVR  very useful and now that i have started using it , can't live without it anymore , except the monthly subscription package for SP3 although loaded with multi channels , hardly view half of the other channel provided .

hope astro can cut RM25 to 50 bucks off SP3 , then its well worth it

currently i'm using b.yond and interested to subscribe super pack deal
just wanna ask is there any pros and cons between b.yand pvr and b.yond with external hardisk

Today i go to astro and wanna upgrade to astro beyond, they show me the superpack package.

Question:
-What type of astro will they given to me astro beyond PvR or just astro beyond?
-The astro guy said no hard disk given so how am i supposed to record then?
-Is there any fee that will be charge?

I agreed that not to stretched SD Channel to Widescreen viewing. It is not nice at all.

It depends on the situation:

If the SD channel is a letterboxed 16:9 like History, Discovery Channel etc. use LB expand
If the SD channel is in 4:3, use pillarbox
If the SD channel is in 16:9 stretched to 4:3, use fit-to-screen

But the default setting is always pillarbox and adjust accordingly depending on the show's format
