Most importantly, I would like to know the price of Sports package alone.

Katanya, perkhidmatan IPTV yang ditawarkan itu memiliki rangkaian holistik dan lengkap untuk golongan dengan gaya hidup yang bergantung kepada teknologi baru, Internet dan komunikasi suara.

Malah, katanya, kelebihan IPTV miliknya memberi kebebasan kepada pelanggan untuk memilih rangkaian mengikut pilihan mereka.

‘‘IPTV kami merupakan perkhidmatan tambah nilai untuk pelanggan jalur lebar berkelajuan tinggi (HSBB) dan ia memenuhi keinginan rakyat Malaysia untuk rancangan hiburan yang berkualiti dengan memberi mereka pelbagai saluran dan program atas permintaan.

‘‘Yang penting kami tidak akan ‘memaksa’ pelanggan untuk membeli rangkaian IPTV, itu kelebihan kami,’’ katanya selepas mesyuarat agung tahunan dan mesyuarat luar biasa TM di sini hari ini.

Nick Jr and MTVNHD set to air in Asia

Singapore/Kuala Lumpur – Viacom International Media Networks (VIMN), today announced the launch of two of its channels in Asia, Nick Jr. and MTVN HD. The channels will be available on StarHub in Singapore beginning 18 May 2011 and on Telekom Malaysia Berhad’s ™ HyppTV in Malaysia from 1 June 2011.

Nick Jr., aimed at pre-schoolers and parents, builds on Nickelodeon’s reputation as one of the world’s leading multi-platform entertainment brands for kids. With a commitment to stimulate, educate, involve, excite and develop enquiring minds with award-winning and exclusive international properties including Dora The Explorer and Go, Diego, Go! MTVNHD – VIMN’s first international high definition service – is a return to MTV’s roots, broadcasting live shows, music videos, music documentaries and original productions. Broadcast in 1080i High-Definition and Dolby Surround 5.1, it targets a largely male audience aged 25 years old and above.

7 premium channels, Facebook & Youtube browsing join UniFi´s HyppTV

In conjunction with the first anniversary celebrations of UniFi, Telekom Malaysia Berhad ™ is not only adding seven new premium channels and five new Video on Demand (VOD) categories to HyppTV, but also the ability to stream Youtube videos and update your Facebook from your TV.

The new channels offer a variety of broadcast content: from global news on Al Jazeera, music entertainment on Nat Geo Music and South India´s SS Music channel, Korean content on tvN HD , and education on Nat Geo Adventure HD.

Additionally, SyFy HD offers science fiction, fantasy, horror, adventure, reality, action, mystery, and paranormal programming, while EMAS is a Media Prima Berhad offering with a retro contemporary concept.

Subscription prices for the new premium channels range from as low as RM3 per month to RM9 per month.

Meanwhile, the new VOD categories offer subscribers wholesome family packages from local drama to documentaries and cartoons. The Malaysian Package has a little bit of everything for everyone, while the Nature Package will show documentary programmess on nature, animals and more.

Children may like the new Dino, Animasi and Galaxy packages, which will be showing English cartoons and also local Malaysian animations.

All these are priced from RM8 per package with a viewing period of up to 30 days.

HyppTV also expands its services to offer YouTube and Facebook browsing on its Interactive applications which is available for free on the platform.

The new channels, categories and services are set to be available in June 2011.

With this, HyppTV´s current line up is now a total of 44 channels -- 15 free channels, 29 premium channels, 14 VOD categories and 11 interactive applications.

why sometimes astro screen going blank in few second then appear again??

I don't think Astro got bandwidth limitation. There is still plenty transponder still not in use on MEASAT3.

Is it Astro Supersport + HD 830 is temporary channel?

I just saw the Stadium Astro's 'Something Big Is Coming' advertisement..looks pretty nailed on that its for the Malaysian FA Cup Final match between Kelantan and Terengganu..the big giveaway is the Astro workers arriving at Stadium Nasioanl Bukit Jalil..

Since it could be the 1st local football match to be broadcast in HD, I think thats where the BIG occasion suits in..and I dont know bout this but since Arsenal, Liverpool and Chelsea are coming to play Malaysia in July, are Astro making this Kelantan- Terengganu match as their launchpad of local football in HD? Certainly hope so..imagine the number of new HD and Byond customers they would add if they offer weekly local football in HD..its certainly more money in the eyes of the monstaer Astro..
