Hi, currently i just using Hamachi to play MW with my friend....now just want to try joining the online servers....
but there is one problem when im trying to join any online servers....

after i enter the connect in console,it does connect but
after 'setting up game' the error coming out....like the screenshot below



sometimes if i try different servers it sends out different types of file that is different from the server

try use original. close this thread.

currently im using orginal i mean license ( i think la )....my brother send me the game from UK can update and all...alredi 2 pc using it no prob....so i think it is still valid....

how to check wether my COD still valid or not? coz almost many time i use the same key on different pc....

if you downloaded it off some shiet pirate site then it's not the real one.BUY ORIGINAL.

EDIT: Original means on steam only. if your launching it through hamachi then its obviously pirated. Steam means that you login through steam to play cod 4. if you don't have a steam account with cod 4 then you are not using a genuine version of cod 4. CLOSE!

hoho steam also never use coz connect using hamachi no need to use steam....so how to make steam acc and make steam works? i think RIP version cannot go online rite? i used to download rip(pirate) coz smaller size but i use my key from original to be put in....but neva try online...so how eh?

not valid? just re purchase the game through steam. its rm 110. and tell your bro that the key doesn't work and reimburse you rm 110.

ok now i must find original Cod4, where to download the official one? i still need to test the key....

buy through steam. if that link i gave doesn't work then search in google for cod 4 steam. then click the first result and after the page loads add the game to cart and buy it.

Retail version of CoD4 does not need Steam.

Means that if you buy it of a shop you dont need steam to play , but if you buy from steam you need steam to play

You can actually run CoD4 without steam even if you buy from steam
