if it's retail cod4 ori and u wanna test it. it's simple. go to join game, change tab to Internet, try to join any of those server. if pb kicked u, yeah it's pirated. if it's not, it's original.

i dont think that's the problem. i used my retail cd-key at cc, which i'm sure cc don't use "retail installer" either. and totally works fine for me.
