Maybe you guys get alot of these posts but imma nub here

anyways, eve online seems very interesting to me. However due to a busy work schedule I can only be a casual player should i decide to join this game. Naturally the next question is, how casual friendly is this game?

Also, are there many malaysians in this game? After playing WoW for 3 yrs with about 200 asians, i realized that a guild with ppl from my timezone is preferable.

I hope to hear from some experienced EVE gamers before i commit myself. Thanks in advance

Yes I can appreciate that its 2 entirely different genres.

But I started WoW because of the lore. Caught my imagination. But that was 3 yrs ago and I was young and... well.. just young.

So now im looking for something immersive. But thank you very much for the advice and thanks Shaff for the video. (btw the movie pretty much sold me.. im gonna try eve sometime this week)

You know what.. the fact that you guys who have been playing for a while are disagreeing on a basic principle of any game (whether you need to be online to earn) seems to suggest the depth of this game.

As for hack and slash, uh.... my original idea of an online game in a fantasy setting would be a bartender or something like that. I'm not a really combat orientated person. I prefer stealing, lying, cheating... you know the stuff i do for my job in real life

Well as a fellow working adult I can safely say that Eve is somewhat casual friendly. But as with any game, the more time you spend in game the faster you can achieve what you want.

Also, as Dan T mentioned, I am also 1 of the noobies who just started Eve and I can say that its highly entertaining. Perfect for my time schedule. Log on whenever I can jsut to change skills. Or if I have some extra time, run a few missions, mine a few asteroids, disturb ALL the veteran players that sort of thing... its fun

Apart from that, take the 14 day trial and then see for yourself and then make your own judgements. But as a warning, be prepared to spend the 1st 4 days totally utterly confused. It will be best to find a person you can trust to run you through the game.

Eh? Not cheap? normal la. Like any pay to play online game the price is about 50+ ringgit. RO also about RM40 a month.

This is about RM55 so its quite normal. But I understand if we all not rich like Shaff and Dan T. I also poor man compared to them.

Ok, before i continue, i know i only picked eve up recently so my information may not be accurate but im trying to save the old birds some headache as my handsomeness has resulted in an abundance of new players.

Anyways, you can use any SMALL ammo designed for hybrid weapons. Currently i use antimatter rounds almost exclusively.
