Errr, just saw this post...can i join? It's been a while since i do 1 on 1

Nightfalls: I'm doing fine mate, doing pretty nicely actually now. Took a break some time back too, had like 1-2 months break from EVE to have some rest Was busy before this, so i didn't submit myself to join the Alliance Tourney, would have been awesome if i was able to join.

Yumi: I was only joking...didn't even mean to provoke you, heh. But if you're interested in a friendly pvp, i'll setup my SiSi server (never had one *grins*) and we can have some fun.


Those who wishes to watch and have some fun, have your SiSi server setup and get to the destination which Yumi will decide. As for the time and date, shall we do it @ this coming Wednesday (3rd Oct, 2007) around 3-4pm Malaysian time? And let me know what class ships you wanna play with...so that i can setup proper ship.

Can we use BS instead? It's much more classic and old school that way...and as for the time, let's do it around 10 or 11pm, good? Also pls let me know what region at least, then i can move my char closer without wasting much time.

For me, the above doesn't help at all but having RAMDisk does help ALOT. Go check it out in the forums for more details on how to set it up.

Hmm, SiSi doesnt seem to be up for me, still can't login. And Yumi still havent state any location for the event...not sure why but this ain't looking good if we would to have some fun.

Alright, this is what i have in mind...we've seen this being planned for few days ahead and both side were responsive enough to take up the challenge but in the end Yumi dissapears.

My thought would be all talk and no action, therefore...we'll have a new date and time and venue.

Now, this is a low-sec system with station and availability to purchase items without problem. 0.0 space is just next door so no issues as well to shoot each other without CONCORD assistance. I'll be interested to have a few class ships to begin with, simply to add some spice to the whole event while we're all in test server.

And pls if you wanna suggest/decide the venue...at least do it soon. Who is so unwanted btw? It's not like there is any major prob that would happen if they're present. At the end of the day, it's Singularity test server.

Edited: As for updating the Singularity server's info, only CCP can do it. They will mirror the test server once in few months, so not sure when is the next server update...we'll have to live with what we have in that server for now.

Hmmm, not sure what exactly you're afraid of but i'm more incline to play with more people since we're all gonna be meeting up for some fun anyway (aside the seriousness in Tranquality).

This event will still go on, whoever wants to have some fun, get to Sagain, we'll sort it out from there (just afk travel to that system, from there...setting up ships will be easy). Those who think that it's gonna be some "ego challenge", by all means pls don't come. It's not even certain who will win regardless of SP, it's all about the right setup with the right opponent.

Till then, invite more people from Malaysia that you know, get them to Sagain we'll have a friendly PVP all night long!

This server isn't stable at the moment as we are testing various low level changes but expect it to be in a better shape by October 6th. Daily downtime from 14-15 GMT. Information on how to connect to Singularity can be found here : How to connect ! TQ version will not autopatch to Singularity. If needed please go to Singularity Patches to patch manually. (Database Version: 2007 07 03).

We'll have to postpond the date for our event...i will update you guys once it's stable and good for connecting to the server. For now, we'll have to wait, coz there are some major error for connecting to Singularity.

Jade: Yeap, once Singularity is up again...we'll have some fun

The rest should come as well, we'll definately have some good fun. I just reformated my C: drive, had alot of shit running so now comp is clean again, woot!

Singularity is up and running, pretty smooth and VERY up to date now. This is the step by step procedure for you to follow in order to get Singularity up and running:

#1 Copy your EVE folder to a new location, make a duplicate copy...DO NOT use install.

#2 Once done, right click on your eve.exe file and select "create shortcut" on desktop.

#3 Right click on the new shortcut on your desktop and select "Properties". Paste the following into the "Target" location >>> "E:\CCP\EVE\eve.exe" /end /server:87.237.38.50

NOTE: If your location is on, let's say...D: drive, then edit the string accordingly. If you've copied the new folder to D: for instance, then your "Target" should have >>> "D:\CCP\EVE\eve.exe" /end /server:87.237.38.50

#4 Delete the folder called "win2k" and "winxp" inside your "bin" folder.

#5 Launch EVE and start pew pew-ing

Sorry bout my noobness in picking a location, been a while since i moved out roaming in empire

Anyway, myself and Jade had some really good fun...we tried alot of ships and it was awesome. Later on, Quincy joined in as well...myself and Jade is currently ganking him

Since Singularity is up and running nicely, let's all meet up on Tuesday @ 10pm for some fun.

As for Yumi and myself's agreement on a 1 vs 1, it's totally up to him now to join in or not. I don't really wanna stress myself too much to get a 1 vs 1 if someone is not ready to do it.

Till then, get your test server up...meet up on Tuesday and let's have some fun.

Just to spice things up, that KM is in Singularity...so no need for such blatant comment

Like i said, we're all in Orvolle...if you wanna come, then come. Otherwise, i'm not gonna bother much since i've tried to have the arrangement with you and the location is not even mentioned before this. I had some fun already with Jade, now it's time for the rest to pour in and have some fun together.

Make sure when you delete those folders, it's in the test server's folder, not your main one

And #3 is important, make sure the " sign is included.
