ok ..eve is not just involve in war and battle. Plan and isk support does matter to. Furthermore those alliance mostly from other timezone so is hard for +8 GMT to be able to participate in their war. So... you guys love to said yumi for what he stand for. well i can said BOB and Goons and the others alliance make the eve look intresting so that you all got something to said as today. However, i never see before an alliance lead by SEA as good as jap or other asian alliance If they do pls guide me.

Delve is pretty intact still if that's what you mean, as for large alliance not able to hold itself for a long time...how big is large? If 2K+ members is large then alot is still alive for a long time already
But whatever the information that is leaked outside of the alliance in public forums, believe what you wanna believe coz that's the nature of human beings. If you ask me, it's kinda nice to have only 1 region left to defend after soooooo long. Alot of pew pew will ensue and the deciding winner will be to see who has the best stamina. Once momentum is slowed down, be sure to see that party/group of people will eventually loose out in a war. My question is, how many hostile alliances/corps towards BoB can go on with such war loosing ships/assets everyday? The minute we have the opportunity to start pushing forward again is when we start to expand our teritory to where we used to be |

Call it whatever you want, strategic retreat or whatever but BoB manage to lose all their friends and regions over the past 5 to 6 months. From gaining sov in tenerifis in 9-9 and having multiple pets in feyth and fountain to losing everything and turtling in delve. Don't tell me that is nice. Anyway I am sure we will continue to fight with BoB and make it unfun for bob piots to log in and play. This post has been edited by mrg220t: Jan 5 2008, 05:55 AM |

QUOTE(mrg220t @ Jan 5 2008, 05:50 AM) see you in delve then. I'm being serious, logically thinking...do you even think a mere 2.7K member alliance can hold such vast space without having other ppl babysitting it? Common, be realistic. I know you're enjoying yourself gaining all those space which we used to hold...but we are also enjoying what we have now as more pew pew is happening within our doorstep BUT MC+Co. is still not wanting to engage edit: serious answer you can say whatever you want but being pushed back to one region from 4/5 region is a loss. Call it whatever you want, strategic retreat or whatever but BoB manage to lose all their friends and regions over the past 5 to 6 months. Anyway I am sure we will continue to fight with BoB and make it unfun for bob piots to log in and play. You see, the prob is that alot of alliance out there don't really understand and have a clear understandings of what they want and what can be done to continue enjoying EVE. If you're in a big alliance and have small space, then pls...go out and invade other space to get bigger area of influence. But, if you're not in a big alliance and have too much space, there is just not enough people to defend all of those space and you need to set priority to which space you want to defend most. In this case, we as BoB knows our priority and retreat back months ago. We don't just continue bashing our head on the wall and expect it to break...wasting resources where it is not needed. If you've seen our reaction in our forums when Molle asked for a pull back, you'll be stunned. The amount of ppl wanting to just fall back is insane...we find stretching ourselves too far out from home without many alliance that can defend themselves without our pressence. Also, the main reason for this is that we wanna collect rent from alliances that wish to stay within our region. After finding out it's not profitable, we retreat...hence you get where we are today Loosing renters within our space is inevitable and yes it's a loss i have to admit, but what can a landlord do when their renters aren't happy and have no place to go? It's a common sense that they'll just fold and change landlord (if they're renting from new owners Added on January 5, 2008, 6:03 pmAnd errr btw, seeing us in Delve is so 2005...Delve is our main region, loosing the rest of the region is not gonna make us fold. Yes neighbouring regions are important but lossing them by just evacuating the place or without a fight is another matter. How many alliance out there that you can find which just abandon certain region to fall back and fortify their main area of operation? Too many unforseen events which makes it hard for our war to be clear...one minute a bandwagon is hitting us, next minute they fold even before properly sieging our space. Then a new group emerged and called themselves RSF, followed by a more proper invasion and next we see MC and friends turning around and screwing our back (pls, if you have no idea what happened with MC...don't start). War in 0.0 space is an on-going thing, the trick to it is holding ground, be a major force and the ability to attack OR defend when needed. Loosing a region and then moving to other region to rebuild is not really that promising This post has been edited by Addicus Zed: Jan 5 2008, 06:03 PM |

QUOTE(Addicus Zed @ Jan 5 2008, 03:53 AM) Words Yeah i can see what you are saying. But a lot of BoB members are going "we were planning for it all along. Gaining 6 regions and losing them all is just as what we have planned, which is absurd and bordering on delusional." Anyway we know about MC and BoB. We have most of their forums copy pasted into our internal forums, and actually some of the BoB forums are copy pasted into our internal forums too. What I am saying about making it unfun for bob pilots is not to have pvp, it is basically make it unfun for them to play, either by not giving them the engagement they want and making sure that every engagement that they can have massively favours our side. |
