Ok, let me clear things up abit
About the request to capture a Titan shooting, they used the same weapons like any other Dreadnaught. So, if you wanna see a weapon being shot from a capital ship...i can use my Phoenix to launch a Citadel Torpedo and capture the image for you guys |

2 months just to get basic learning skills all to lvl5 seems right. Must take into account the attribute distribution and also, not having high attributes initially does affect high skill training time.

Try to avoid any missions that require you to kill faction spawns. Anything to do with killing Caldari/Amarr/Gallente/Minmatar is a no no for me always, that's why my standings with all the above factions are high

Alright boys and girls, i just got home from a long day since it was a patch day (it's a good thing ya know). Revelation has some interesting add-ons and changes in order to balance the whole game out. Some people might think certain changes will make certain races better, but let me tell you this...it's not! EVERY single race in the game has its advantages and disadvantages. Since i'm a 0.0 space citizen, let me give you an example (combat example)...
In 0.0 space, alot of fleet battles and small roaming gangs take place in order to either secure a new region OR to defend your region from invading hostiles. Solo hunting RARELY takes place since 0.0 space has no sentries or CONCORD to protect you, therefore everyone that goes out to pvp either has 1-2 more friends or more. Now, the question here is...what ship is good and what race does it well? ALL races in the game does well in fleet battles...meaning BS mostly snipe and smaller ships mostly do close range combat, such as tackling or disabling opponents. This however, prohibit alot of Caldari BS pilot to do well...since Raven (at the moment) uses missiles and they need to travel (takes time) in order to hit their opponents. In fleet battles, turrets will ALWAYS be more powerful/faster in killing hostile ships...thus making the Raven a weak BS for sniping during fleet battles. With the Revelation patch, it will help Caldari BS pilot to have 1...and i mean only 1 single type of sniping BS, which is the tier 3 BS (Rokh). From the looks of the changes/add-ons...the Rokh is gonna be one of the most powerful sniping BS ever in EVE, simply because the rest of the Caldari ships uses missiles (mostly) and lack the speed or ability in fleet battles. Let's move on to a smaller scale combat setup...which is roaming gangs and small combat encounter. Caldari is no doubt averagely good at this section due to the ability to ignore range. Without needing to worry about optimal range, missiles are the best in small roaming combat. However, EVE limit this advantages through having signature radius (how big your ship is)...so it still depends how big/small your target is versus how big/small your missile is. If you look into the performance of other races in this area of combat, they do pretty well generally...being able to spit out alot of damage regardless how big/small their hostile ship is. They only need to worry bout the distance between 2 ships when in combat...which is quite easy to obtain (some race have better velocity and damage type). Overall...if you ask me, the changes is actually making the game much more balanced in the sense of what you're doing. Certain races are so much better in 0.0, others are good at low-sec combat/missioning and others being uber in industrial activities. The best advice to the new comers is that, make up your mind what you really want in EVE...do you wanna do pvp alot? Or do you wanna be an industrial pilot that does anything and everything which relates to stuff which does not need you to do killing. As a PURE Caldari pilot myself, i dont fly anything except Caldari race ships...therefore my skills are VERY focused. With the new tier 3 BS coming out, im truly happy with it (finally can join other race BS to snipe in fleet battles) and is looking forward to the new Revelation patch. In time to come, i'll be able to optimise my ability in ALL Caldari ships only, and polishing up all the skills that relates to it will eventually make my char shine. Not one single race in the game is weakest...it is just how well you optimise your skills to fly them |

Well, the easiest way to decide if the price for a ship is expensive or not is very simple. This of course works well for T1 ships and NOT T2. If you look into the requirements to build a T1 ship, always calculate the price per unit for those minerals requirement and then total it up. Add about 10% profit margin and voila, you get average market price
Don't forget to calculate the cost according to an average 20ME, don't think any major producer in the game will produce anything T1 using BPO which has ME below 20. |

That's why i asked those who wanna evaluate T1 ship prices, base it on the mineral requirements. Can't go wrong that way

Rigging skills will be a neccessity when the right time comes...when rig modules starts to flow into the market, it will be another add-on to become more efficient when flying a ship. For the time being, it wont be a 'real' profit making proffesion...probably when ppl starts to have that 'feel' in getting those salvaged materials for rig production it will then be much better.
