u will get bored with the ui. after that u will use vanilla ui .

Yup, HTC UI is indeed very attractive, I do agree with that.
And with O2X's dual core, even you customize the UI and theme to extreme it also won't lag

Its 1720 now u can get ori o2x at garage..
If u subscrbe for celcom u will need to pay similar price..
Unless you're a loyal celcom user..
The only diff is you will be attached to contract by celcom..

Very very stable, until now not even a hang or reboot.

Well, rooting your phone will not make you lose any data at all.
It's like install another app into only (it provides you the ultimate access to your phone which is highly recommended )
However rooting voids your warranty, and you need to unroot it when you want to send your phone for warranty.
Rooting with SuperOneClick is easy and unroot it with it is also easy too.
Just click the button and wait for few seconds and it's done.

Root your phone, download Titanium Backup, backup the apps you wanted (or just backup all)
Then update it, wipe data/cache also don't mind.
Download Titanium Backup to your new firmware and restore backup
