Everything's good just that baseband has some problems and can't install drivers on Windows.
Can mount on Mac/Linux but not Windows.
Solving it now

Correction: Installed drivers on Windows but USB storage not mounting.
Somehow weird, uninstalled all relevant drivers and plug in my phone again.
BLUE SCREEN came out and then GEEZ, restart.
Few times repeating, finally give up hahaha.
But still using it, just that you can't manually select the network, it will render it network reading fail.

Guys, Im new here..Planning to upgrade from my x10 to optimus 2x since i saw the mindblowing specs on the net..BUT, im concerned about the "random reboot & phone randomly go off" probs i read about this fone..Juz out of curiousity, is those probs only occur to people in other country? How many people bought the fone in Malaysia face those probs?

Guys, I planning to buy O2x, the shop offer me rm1888 with 8gb card, is it worth? TQ.

no extra accessories? hdmi output cable? screen protector? pouch?
8gb card not bad ma..
mine RM1899 only give screen protector, lousy pouch and a hdmi cable. 16gb microsd card bought separately..

flash to latest firmware version will fix this
But if you prefer not to risk yourself out there (flashing process is easy, but some people just lazy)

Because the 8GB card they offered maybe just class 2, which is very slow to me.
You can grab a 16GB Class 10 card at around 150+-
I prefer buy seperately, just my two cents

Ok..the thing is,I already familiar with flashing custom kernel/firmware/baseband/ROM in my xperia x10.. even did the same thing for my friend's Galaxy S..In ur opinion,do u think i can buy LG optimus 2X with a mindset "Even if this fone have the random reboot/off prob,I can fix it"?

Then just buy it, but I won't recommend you buy this phone for your girlfriend as its size is too big for normal girl's hands to hold.
The random reboot issue I never encounter it, though I flashed the ROM still.
Stock ROM with few patches is far more than enough in daily use, the battery life will impress you

i believe lg o2x is one of the most hack-friendly phone right now. I have see some people with shit happen, and a;; of them manage to fix it in the end. I read from somewhere in xda, saying that because of the nvflash, basically it is unbrickable?

Wow juz like that my worries are gone! Im really worried when i read in xda,people cursing about the unfixable random reboots,been waiting for weeks,juz to decide. Suddenly it comes to me,why havent i ask malaysians who already bought the fone?haha.

YEah,i knw how big the lcd is,since i already go n try it in LG retail shop,but my gf keep saying i cant buy it unless i buy one for her too!
Since i read about the reboots probs,i slightly change my mind to buy galaxy S2 but the price different with this fone is kinda huge.. imagine, 2 LG O2X = RM3600 while 2 galaxy S2 will cost me RM4800 atleast!

Not the LCD is big, the whole phone is big.
Well, if she insists, then just buy and tell her not to complain.
Because when I show my phone to few of my female friends, they said it is too big for them.
