1.4ghz? How stable does phone be in tis extreme OC? Battery life? Performance overall?

Just OC it to score on Quandrant.
Now in 1.2Ghz, can't feel any performance or whatsoever (I'm always on 1Ghz before that)
Battery life ? Still don't know yet, will report later

just got me my o2x this afternoon..hope all the sifu's can show me the way of the dual-core android!!!

sgs2 or lgo2?

SGS2 - brand, better display,bigger ram/internal storage, better camera, better video, better ext speaker quality, faster cpu clock = higher/premium prize
O2x average/basic dual core tegra2 phone = reasonable prize/not affraid to mod...

Added on May 3, 2011, 11:23 amI just flashed my o2x to modaco rom using the CWM.. B4 i flash, i did backup the ori rom using CWM also.. The problem is now when i want to flash back to original rom using restore option in cmw, i only get was stuck LG boot screen with blue line(also stop animate after a while) after reboot.. Is there any way i can restore back to the ori rom with the backup rom from CWM? tks...

Still using the modaco rom now..

Penang price. Just worry about the random reboot thing only, can it really be fixed?

Did wipe/factory reset already.. Still the same.. When i flash back to modaco rom, everything went ok again.. The ori backup rom is still inside my ext sdcard..

can u zip it up your backup rom, let me try on my phone see it works or not?

OK.. I'll try to zip the backup folder.. But after this, flash back using the install from zip file option rite?

modaco fr4 and onwards are ext4, stock is ext3, so you cannot simply retrieve back to ext3.

i think only advantage is bigger RAM, other is just gimmick

And that's why you can only either flash stock rom with smartflash or convert it to ext3 before you can use back stock rom

Yup, those specs are just unnecessary for us IMHO.
Here's what I think.
So thin for what ? The Super AMOLED+ will be a power hog too.
With either modaco/stock v10d/cm7 nightly ROM you can have 220MB ram around there for you.
Even if you play hardcore HD/3D games it is enough already, why bug for 1GB ram ?
The camera is good enough FOR ME (With ultra speed burst camera/360 camera and etc)
And most importantly, O2X's community came out earlier therefore we have a better support for software/hardware issues.
Even CM7 will support SGS2 in the future, that will be long time after.

for sgs2? well sgs have everything i want in a phone in fact its so advanced i dont think if i buy it i will not change it for many yrs unless it has physical problems or wear and tear and technical problems.
