Yesterday saw 2 shops kuching selling sgs2 local warranty set rm2500 & rm2300 WTF!!  Thinking twice on dumping my O2X...

For your info, SGS II will officially landed on market end of this month, SME warranty 12 month with rrp rm2099.

Still i love my O2X, SGS II quite bulky and very plasticky.

Darn LG is doing the same thing as early SE, at least SE has improve in the case of their new Xperia lineup as i think LG is going to put effort straight to Ice Cream Sandwich skipped Gingerbread in the progress.

so using those custom rom, wil help to free more 64 ram right?

for now my ram alwys go around 130 left sien

this phone work fluid on the game.

i have problem, i cant find gameloft folder.
i using astro manager, i need to paste SD data in gameloft folder.

so how can i find the gameloft folder lol

once we flashed the kernel and baseband, it stay permenant right? even if we flash the rom? unless we going to purposely flashing it d baseband and kernel right? so after all flashing rom alone jus neccesary unles the rom it mus fitted with other kernel right?

after 1 mth plus using this phone. im actually quite like it. 1st time using android phone.. got the basic things i need at least, sync itune, soundhound, whatsapp, camera, fb android(better than fb LG. fb LG took longer time to load, n chat is cacat a bit),
I just do basic browsing n chat. under utilize also. I like the screen also. big enough, design is nice
havent met any1 in real life using the same phone with me yet. which is good. unlike iphone. is everywhere

One thing upset me is the battery life. comsumption is high when playing chat. but my friend told me this is same as iphone as well

Anyone used the latest 606 baseband + RIL for MCR fr17 ? Searched around and still nobody could give me an input whether is it:

a) Better at receiving signals
b) Improve battery life (due to the better signals, 3g doesnt have to keep searching).

I was wondering when samsung release the gs2 tegra2 version is it possible to use the sammy rom on our lgo2x since it use the same hardware? 

stock rom only can be dl from fileserve? but the server so damn slow. hardly to move til end. any idea?

but so far i saw from fileserve only. search google all showing the same.

Well, i bought my O2X which comes with free HDMI cable. 1-year warranty.
Does the warranty cover the HDMI cable too?
I think i'm gonna visit the shop by this week. ><

Anyone having problems with taking screenshots? I know stock rom has a built in screenshot feature. I'm using CM7 nightly and every screenshot I take with 3 different screenshot Apps didn't work and just showed a black screenshot. Any reasons why this happens?

i bought this phone around 3 days. I found some probs that really annoy me a bit.

cons
- youtube video bit jerky. solved after i restart phone
- wifi error. solved after i restart phone.
- youtube audio very slow compared to galaxy sl and desire hd.
- sim card take long time to load after restart phone. took it about 40-50 sec
- massive battery cut down. experienced last night at 2.00 am battery 68% and become 14% at 4.00 am (no wifi,no 3g on). now battery full, let see what happen next.
- UI bit laggy while i updating the game. so i just let the update finish first.

pros.
- fast surfing experience
- tegra 2, fast UI
- smooth gaming experience
- good camera in dark and sunny condition.

this is my experience with this HP, never root or flash rom.

hope gingerbread can solve all the issues.

bad luck for me i guess.

how about heavy gaming experience?
my battery went down to 1% for 3 minutes in game.

Intensive gaming, non-stop for 4 hour 20 minute, battery drop from 95% to 20%, phone temperature quote at about 37~42 degree Celsius.

Games involved : Asphalt 6 Adrenaline, FPSE - FFIX, Monster Madness.

i have another weird problem now.

my battery at 28% then it said battery low.
then phone shutdown.

i can't open my hp lol.
dunno what to do now. just let the cable charge my phone.

need to contact back the seller.

UPDATE : now i can open but the icon shown battery empty.
right now, i try to charge with the phone off.
