The phone aren't built to be used that way.
Either USB or WiFi tethering are just for some cases you don't have WiFi but not for frequently or daily usage.
It's not defection of phone.

Just my point of view.
I thought signing up a wireless broadband could be easier for you.
You made this phone lost Its portability already. Pretty pointless to call it a mobile phone.

i've been waiting for streamyx for over than 2 months already..
they said line full since then.. and no extra line or need to que for turn shakehead.gif
now using celcom prepaid + weekly RM18 broadband.. kinda portable as i can online anywhere..
it just i faced PC more than 5 hours a day.. so i just use it as modem for the time being..
and left the phone connected with tether on all night.. and im sure my phone will never be full charged..
im not sure if other running apps affecting the battery chargeness..

i use my htc hero same way as i use o2x now.. but hero charging wont affected by internet usage.. only wifi tether eat battery more than charging and make the phone heated.. but my o2x is heated for normal usb tether..

Hello people, another question here.. When you guys play games on your 2X does the temperature rises alot? Especially the rear camera that portion. Both the camera part and the screen itself. It's like the processor is gonna explode or something -.- Is this normal..? Btw I'm trying out dungeon defenders..

LOL at 'is gonna explode', it is normal to feel temperature rise when gaming but the explode part is kinda scary, my phone quote around 40~42 degree when gaming, still kinda normal i think. hmm.gif

The problem is it stings your finger touching that small portion of the screen. It actually burns and the side of the phone just started becoming hot after around 20 minutes of playing. I mean seriously hot till knot hold in hand that type of hot..
Should I take the phone to the shop or something..? Btw how did you measure the temperature?

Just use internet on phone coz its problematic to use USB tethering all the time, the good thing is battery probably wont drain out tongue.gif
