Slowpoke here..
QUOTE Details on two new Symbian-less blowers from Nokia have dripped out from the seedy underbelly of tech rumour and speculation, otherwise known as the internet. Nokia’s X7 (Symbian Anna’s first handset) and the N8, currently riding Symbian^3, will be the debut handsets for Windows Phone 7, rebranded as the W7 and W8. That’s the word from Russia’s Mobile-Review.com editor Eldar Murtazin. Is he right? We doubt Nokia would approach such as massive change in direction as switching to Windows Phone 7 without busting out some new hardware. It’s possible the company is using current hardware for testing while they figure out how best to create those new handsets, but given we’re not expecting any WP7 phones from Nokia until this time next year at the earliest, we’d season this with a healthy pinch of sodium chloride. http://stuffmideast.com/2011/04/19/112876/...one-7-handsets/ |

Tutorial: How to view Chinese, Korean, etc. characters on Symbian 3
-worked on my N8 1. Make sure you phone has QT 4.7.3 installed. (Mine didn't have it) if not, download and install http://db.tt/C0JuHta followed by http://db.tt/K93lxQe and http://db.tt/kufso2w Reboot your phone after installation. 2. Download http://www.mediafire.com/?pii6eceys33e866 3. Plug your Symbian 3 device into your PC as Mass Memory mode (necessary) 4. Extract the zip file you've downloaded from step 2 5. Navigate to your Memory Card and place the "Resource" folder into it. You might be asked to replace the folder, just go ahead. (I think there's already a hidden "Resource" folder in your memory card, but anyways, just replace it) - No renaming is required, I've done it already 6. Safely remove your phone and reboot it.
