Never happened to me. Only problem I detect is video recording. Haven't test gps but I think also not working. Very satisfied with the rom even with these 2 defects. Not sure beta 4 worth installing since for me, nothing much updated

can't record anything at all. will FC, but camera works fine with preview. still using beta 3 only though. not sure if updating to beta 4 will need to do re-do my configs. i plan to update without flash

btw, i'm ok for the gathering in midvalley. if everyone is ok for beers, we can make it at The Library and ogle at chicks at the same time, but if not, i guess somewhere else lor.

dont worry, bring a laptop, and cable, then can direct upgrade!!

download market enabler from the market, then enable Verizon/T-Mobile, then enter market again. there are some apps that are US specific that we dont get here normally

papago is pretty good, and uses very little data, and mostly aGPS signal only

just updated to Beta 4 and video recording works. will test Papago later

update thru custom recovery. stock ROM has similiar features, but no in CM7. some users mentioned crystal talk better than stock ROM features, but i dunno lah

lol, not bothered cheap phone or not. just because it's expensive doesn't mean its good.

for me, it serves my purposes and needs, and being cheap is good as well. why i got this phone because performance/value is one of the best in the market

realised in CM7 beta 4 (and possibly previous beta), the camera flash doesnt work

well, looks like got some good, got some bad. different defy, different problems

i think for the price you're paying, it's too much RM for the little speed increase. pretty sure the bottle neck is not at the SD card. class 6 should be more than sufficient

cm7 is rooted. so far, i havent re-flash cm7 before, and is still on the first installation. so far so good.

wifi is cranky, but usable.

FM radio apparently works, but i dont think i use it. what apps uses that??

just put the zip card in any folder you want. select the folder when custom recovery prompt you to do so. it goes the same for any update.zip or whatever

i've been using Papago on this phone for quite sometime, except lately since CM7. GPS works fine
