i regularly wash my phone with soap....so that's probably a one in a million case....that said...it's still your choice...no other phones can do this at the moment...even without the 'lifeproof' thingy that Motorola is selling....this phone is still a solid phone with good price/features

who is using/testing MIUI 1.7.1 now? What are your observations thus far? interested to know too....

long time no replying in this awesome tered
kinda bz and m phone gib me lots of headache these 2 weeks.
its all happen after i change to DNA 16GB class 10 SD.
lots of data corruption. phone hangs and need to pull out battery.
opening gallery also delay like s***.copying file from PC sometime end up with super slow speed  or fast 17MBs copying half finish then hang.
then see forumers @xda also have this same problem.
with different brand of sdcard also but all is 16GB Class 10.
so anyone thats thinking to upgrade sdcard should noted this problem.

mybe TS can put this reminder @ front page also.

im using Andida 1800mAh batt also. ( my moto batt put on reserved) change once every week to topup abit
so far battery life not bad la. at least its match with stock battery.
yesterday use a bit, cit cat , 7am till 10pm also still 40% .. so it survived my working day. without 3g of course

luckily u stil not jumping into it.

yeah.. now change back to my old Kinston 8GB class 6..
no problem at all.
open gallery also no lag+hang  like with that class 10 card

suggest we stay away from class 10 card for now.
since there repeatable result across many brand that have problem with it

yup, although i must admit, it's still a lot of 'copying' work rather than original works and concepts like CM7. it's after the iPhone concept, just sort of 'port' it to the Android world.

I downloaded all the files except for Google Apps 2.3.4(market, gtalk, etc.) because the link is dead. Anyhow I tried to find the file from the internet based on the keyword. I did managed to get some files. I tried a few after that with no success to instal it after booting.

Anyone has the file?

however one thing is for sure the keyboard press wont trigger the vibrate even when i enabled it. Is this normal?

Uhm I finally went back to CM7. I kinda like the whole interface compared to the MIUI

Had to really find a work around to get those Official Google Aps to download. Boy did I learn the hard way. My ass hurts sitting for 2 days ha ha

yup, last time ppl keep saying, (even Quarx) that Defy is limited to 2 point multi-touch due to hardware, but now someone already did a 10 point multi-touch.

well, after all, the fella already did a flashable zip with CWM, thus making it easier to install rather than the earlier paste paste crap. those with time and nothing to do, download and install through custom recovery
