If you think that you gonna use up 500MB very quickly, you should consider about getting RM40 package as it is unlimited quota ald.

Yup, the broadband can auto renew by themselves.

I have hotlink prepaid. Can I MNP to umobile prepaid without the need to buy new sim pack.

RM40 for unlimited quota? which package would that be?

I only saw UB40/MB40 which is 2G, but it's more for Wireless Broadband/PostPaid.

i jz got my sim card from the MNP process...problem is now i cant activate my number...it cant call out to any number besides 1318...yest umobile ad sent me msg tat my number is bein activated within an hour...so how now?

im currently in melaka...i jz mnp to umobile but i cant activate my umobile and my old hotlink stil can use...how? i need fast activation as tis is my primary line...

hmm, when Umobile at Celcom Backbone 2G Network, can we use EDGE? or only voice?

I am also not in U mobile and i can check the U Mobile easy menu for more information.

Voice can be used, but EDGE would be dependent on the package. So far, I am a happy user of RM28/month unlimited internet per month.

I have not registered with U Mobile yet, planning to do the MNP in July

Not sure about it. While this package allows me to roam, but the other packages like the UM40 might not be able to roam.

now my number is 90% functional...i can make n receive call...i can sms...i can top up...the prob is i cant receive sms...i called umobile, n they say they are currently facing problem wit sms...is it true n is there any members wit similar experience?

It is clearly stated that after the quota has been breached, the speed is 64kbps. The information can be obtained through this PAGE under the FAQs

i am staying in PJ. anyone knows the speed for this area?

buy a starter pack @ rm8.00 , preloaded rm5.00, try it , speedtest it and if its fast subscribe prepaid broadband with that sim

I'm in PJ Sec 14. Just subjectively, late evening and night seems pretty good, definitely instantaneous compared to Edge. Seldom any problem but occasionally drops and restarts to Edge while indoors. Icon rotates H to 3G to E.

Worth trying!
