I'm new to Trading in Lowyat.net so I might ask some dumb questions. sweat.gif
So I have some questions need to ask you guys who are experienced.

1. Does anybody know which courier service centers in Penang Island provides courier service to Sabah,Labuan?
2. I'm selling my rig and I dont really know the weight of my rig too, usually what is the weight(kg) of a normal rig with Processor,Mobo,RAM,Floppy Disk,PSU,Casing? (It's without Graphic Card)
3. Near my house there are a few Post Offices but I have a feeling that they dont provide rig postage because a CPU is quite heavy and big.So do they really provide big stuffs like "rig" postage?
4. Which courier company in Penang Island provides rig courier services? And which company is better? And what's their payment rates to Sabah Labuan?
5. Do I really need to warp the whole rig then send it to the courier service center? Or just pass them the whole rig without any box or things covering it?

This is the rig I'm currently selling, now there's already a buyer from Sabah Labuan is interested but I need to know clearly step by step about postage method so that I wont mess things up.

1st question I need to ask you: How can u start selling without knowing how to use postage? You should have learn it before u start trading!

Anyway.. back to your questions

1. All courier service can send to Sabah. Easiest to fins is Pos office. You can choose poslaju, Registered post or E-Parcel

2. Why not u try to weigh it with the weighing machine.. I think around 3kg and above .. not so sure...

3. U can post your CPU at post office.. they didn't say cannot. Well, not in their prohibited list:

4. All courier service can post your rig..

Rates is depend on the weight and how big the item is.. u can check the rates here:

Poslaju : http://www.pos.com.my/pos/appl/fast_mail_rate.asp

E-Parcel : http://www.pos.com.my/pos/appl/parcel_rate.asp

Poslaju is fast but quite expensive. Today post, tomorrow receive or next day.

E-Parcel is cheaper but slow.. Around 2 weeks arrive Sabah.

But ofcourse the buyer bares the postage.

5. It is better for u to have box and pack nicely. Please take note that Courier service they work like practice basketball.. so if u don't want your stuff to spoil or broken before your customer receive it, make sure u pack nicely in the box. and also put alot of fragile stickers

oh.. make sure buy insurance.. in case of lost
