I want to suggest something.

Why don't you guys make a proper overclocking database for Intel. The requirement is simple.... just 8 hours prime stable. Post a screenshot with 2 cpu-z showing cpu and ram properties. That's all.

if u guys agree.... antonio can pm me and we'll work things out.

And what you purpose here?
Spamming?

You're not even helping the threadstarter...

Stop spamming you idiot...

Threadstarter, what you have to do first is to get a good decent 3rd party heatsink...
My suggestion is for you to go for either one of this:

1) Thermalright Ultra 120
2) Thermalright HR-01
3) Scythe Infinity
4) Scythe Ninja
5) Thermalright XP120
6) Thermaltake Big Thyphoon VX
7) CoolerMaster Hyper TX

After u have change the heatsink to either one of these, ui should be able to overclock lo... thumbup.gif

No more worries about high temperatures... wink.gif

One more thing, don't use that ICute PSU for you're pc, it can't cope with you're pc specs liao... laugh.gif

As u're using a power hunger ATI X1950 graphic card, i suggest you to get at least Enermax Liberty 500W, it should be enough for you're pc... thumbup.gif
calling other forumer IDIOT.... probably you're too smart? or you're requesting a banhammer?

Spam is of course a spam, but I take Dead_Man's posting as sarcasm, seriously I believe thread starter did not even bother the pinned topics for basic guide on overclocking. There are threads on Intel, thread about PSU for overclocking, and hell a lot of threads about cooling, not to mention for Conroe to be specific.

passing POST doesn't mean your system already stable. loading windows is a bit more stressful than just system POST, so any instability may be instantly occur.

just as basic.... increase more voltage when something is not stable. which voltage? trial and error.
