Planning to get a E4300 along with the Gigabyte 965P-DS3 i965P C2D V3.3 mobo, and Kingston 667 RAM (2GB).

What would I need to get (fan, type of RAM) to overclock the E4300 up to close to (or over) 3GHz or equal to a E6600 performance?

Don't mention water cooling. ($$$$)

Hi I got a problem.

I got a new E8400 (replacing E6320) using Gigabyte P35-DS3 (1.0) but nothing comes out! What gives?

Have not done any update yet. I can recall seeing my BIOS as an "F2" version. Is that version support to work with the e8400?

No way to update the bios without CPU?

But even with the F2 bios is it significant enough to cause the entire system unit to not able to function at all? No display but got power.

Update: After updating the bios to F13i everything working fine!
