juz do trial n error lor

....try increase until hit d wall? tats what i heard they always did...i gotta go bac n test whats is the problem of my oc...since 3.15 also cant...and 3.1 also got problem at prime test...haiz...i thought suppose all at default at least can increase few mhz..but turn out i was wrong

and also, when u increase d bus speed, d ram speed will auto increase right? coz im using 333mhz for d ram...i try tighter timing n it cant boot to POST lol...
u know where can i get more reading about ram bro? coz i dunno what is d limit of d ram (using kingmax 667 5-5-5-15)....and also d limit of my proc FSB...currently my multiplier is x15...
honestly it is much harder to overclock that pentium D compared to the 2.66GHz ones.

Since the 2.66ghz got low fsb setting high multiplier x20

My pentium D is also the old tech process 90nm ones.
FSB/RAM is definitely the one stopping you. I dont like OC my RAM and I didnt do any research on it, so u might wanna ask other here. I tot you can adjust the Ram ratio so it wont overclock pass 667.
ok I after a while I tried again on my CPU.
Got once I tried b4 Overclock to 3.5Ghz @ default clock (1.2v), playing CPU heavy use game(game that use heavy cpu) . I actually load the game 3 times. (*means same game open 3 and run triple at same time) After a while got some minor issue text artifact issue(the game graphic is rendered by CPU lol). but still stable didnt crash yet.
another time push to 3.6GHz @ default clock, able to boot to window, even play that game, but crash after a while.
According to tomshardware with increase voltage, this thing can push to 4.1GHz, default voltage @ 1.4v can get 3.6GHz (I dont know why their is 1.4, mine is 1.2v)
So conclusion is pentium D is not a bad overclocker, It is either Ram issue, or FSB or bad motherboard.
I am sticking back to 3.33GHz @ 333 FSB as I am happy to run it with FSB/Ram sync with my 667Mhz together
