jz wanna knw hw u guys run prime test for HT proc?
im using 2.4c HT....i use sp2004....
izit open both sp2004 thn set one cpu 1 & one cpu 0 thn run both together??
or i shd set both cpu same 11 or 00??

, u can run super pi/ pc mark/ 3d marks or any applocation for fast to noe it can survive or not b4 run prime test...

i think it is better to run one by one.. first, run small fft for 5-8hours (to test cpu)

then large fft to test its ram... and also run memtest..

coz so many thing to test, usually i test it after i happy wit d speed.. thumbup.gif

P4 3.0 (524) LGA775 FSB 533mhz . so i am confused with this processor specification.  rclxub.gif Just know this processor at least have EMT64, but HT i am not so sure, but some chinese website, got mention it is support HT too. but i am not so sure.

Overclocking

Overclocking the system per se does not impose a direct threat to the HDD, however, things change once the PCI frequency goes beyond 38 MHz. Some older drives like the IBM Deskstar5 series would simply corrupt all data, some others like the Western Digitals were running fine up to 42 MHz PCI frequency without problems. The same was true for the older Samsung drives, however, those drives had pitiful performance anyway so we won't talk about them. Factors that influence the stability of the drive at higher IDE frequencies are amongst other things the quality and, as silly as it may appear, the installation of the UATA cables used.
i recommend u not to oc too high ur pci/agp frequenzy since its not locked.... or u may face other prob from hdd, or ur system....
