+1...completely agree..as a top club, we had been under par for 6 seasons liao. 6 seasons of failure means something is wrong with our club on the pitch.no matter the reason. Tickets price are bloody expensive (paid for few,burnt a hole in wallet)+sometimes,Emirates feels more like a stress house/library (perhaps that is the reason our away form is better? )..We really need to improve, or slowly,we might be out of the picture from any title. I am never contented that Arsenal is a competing club, I wanted Arsenal to WIN, and that's the only club I wanted to see to win. The moment we are contented is the moment we stop improving. Come on Arsenal! Proves the doubters wrong. not right!!

I don't normally watch United games but I don't know why I stayed up to watch Schalke vs United this morning. I notice that United are very tight when it comes to formation and position wise. Their players don't ever stray far from their designated positions and the shape of the team is always there. In terms of team organization we could certainly take a leaf out from their book.

Perhaps one of the reasons IMO for our defensive frailties is the license Arsene gives players to roam freely, a bit too freely. When players don't stick to their positions it creates gaps on the field and our positional play becomes messy, which is probably one of the reasons why our defensive line appears exposed all the time especially when our midfielders push forward and we are hit on the counter attack, players are out of position and just can't get back in time.

You could say the same thing about the Dutch league, unfortunately. Even Ajax is not the feared force it once was and their champions last year, Twente, is not much better than the Scottish champions in Europe. None of them can retain the great players that the generate on a regular basis (especially Ajax's legendary academy).

Anyway, Ryo's definitely not ready for first team action yet. Quite predictable (will try to outrun and cross almost all the time) and is not as good a passer as he needs to be for the team. But the potential's there. Need to get him in England ASAP.
