u only connect dlink port 4 to the switch? or there are other port from dlink(1,2,3) connect to the same switch as well? if on port 4 is connected then the switch should be running on vlan 600 only. It should be able to transfer the vlan over. Are u able to connect to your PC using the switch port? By default u shouldn't since port 4 from dlink had been separated for other vlan 500 port, unless there are other port connected on the switch and running on DHCP server as mention from riz, then ur IPTV won't know how to get the exact IP from vlan 600.

I am connected port 1 to switch as well but I understand what you mean. Thanks.

Hey ASAP,
That particular switch is a basic layer 2 switch without any VLAN capability. You're probably going to want to look for a setup like this :
http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/1733801That setup utilizes the RB750 + RB250GS smart switch but it should also be possible with any other switch that has 802.1q support and
tagged VLAN management options. They cost more than the standard switch you're using at the moment. Basically, you keep the IPTV traffic encapsulated in VLAN600 on your home network then untag it next to the STB + TV. Other users just use homeplugs so send the IPTV data around.

As for workarounds.. I don't think there are any other workarounds that you could perform on the DIR-615 router to enable you to use your current setup.
Lol nice seet

Hi,
Could you show me a switch in this website can do the trick,
http://www.tp-link.com/en/products/prolist.aspx?mid=01030304? Basically I need 24 ports, gigabit and link aggregation for my NAS and of course VLAN capability. Thanks.
I have one question. I have two Unifi IPTV. Can I watch IPTV at the same time? Thanks
