hahaha.... same here!
Added on April 24, 2011, 1:04 amDid smtg stupid today - i tried to use a flat-head screw-driver to manually adjust my headlamps behind the headlamp housing (I personally still find the headlamp levels too low for night driving, even after set to max auto-levelling)...
managed to crank the headlamps light level to ~5cm higher, when the entire internal lamp reflector dish inside "dropped" about 10cm. Then now even if I turn the manual screws, the levels won't go up/down.
will get it fixed in the 1st service... probably a cable inside got loose coz i turned too much.
So, MORAL OF THE STORY: don't get too greedy and adjust the lamp level way too high
Added on April 24, 2011, 1:23 amJust got my car back from PPS today...got the Shine N Shield Teflon coating done. Dropped the car off @ 9am, got it back @ 5pm. I watched them for awhile as they were polishing the car... it's quite a detailed process - wash thoroughly, apply polish, then wash thoroughly again, re-polish etc.
Luckily the shop lady boss got car for me to drive home... an old Ford 2.0 sedan... manual drive (i must say i miss driving manual car... still the best for jam-free roads
Here's some pix from the shop... these are taken immediately after I got there to collect the car...

Will try and get some clearer/nicer shots these next few days if weather outside is good
BTW, I was told by the PPS detailers to use a "PH balanced car shampoo" to keep the shine (and to ensure the warranty is valid). walau eh - even car shampoo must use "PH balanced!"
I'm currently using Armor All wash n wax liquid shampoo (blue bottle, around RM20/bottle)... but might switch to the one the car detailers are using (Auto Magic, RM60/ 3L big bottle). Anyone using this brand?
How much does the PPS coating service cost?Added on April 24, 2011, 1:04 amDid smtg stupid today - i tried to use a flat-head screw-driver to manually adjust my headlamps behind the headlamp housing (I personally still find the headlamp levels too low for night driving, even after set to max auto-levelling)...
