My SA said they gotta drive to Puspacom & JPJ for inspection woh.. True or not ?

im from KL, getting my insight from Johor Kluang and i sold my Honda city to Muar.
better than wait few month see all insight owner drive it
yup, is ready stock at dealer already, coz the booker want loan 100% reject,

yes i collected the car already.

close to 10am this morning.

SA not bad, explain everything clearly abt the car, and let me have a lot of time to inspect the car as well.

haha got take photo somemore with the manager there.    haha SA said this is the standard procedure when they hand over the car to customer.

spent quite sometime there checking everything and explanation before drove off the car.

after drove off, bump petrol @ caltex, haha, the car attracts attention from the station staff. he came over to ask if this is a new car.    then told him i want to pump ron95, haha he sort of trying to ask me to pump ron97 since it is new. haha but i found no difference, won't want to spoil the car for good food, else later he cannot take worse food. haha

reach home abt 12pm++. then park my car at home, and went out for lunch and shopping with my two friends who accompany me to collect car, and i drove my NHC not insight. haha because no cobra connex yet, scare to drive out. and just reached home now only.

then call up my SA to help me book the part for cobra connex, next week the sales manager from cobra will send staff to come and train the SC to install the connex for my car. becos the SC here nvr install connex for insight yet. need to do on job training for them.

until now, nvr touch my car yet. haha

got other thing to attend to. will have it leave the car alone first haha.

i got umbrella too. actually, i got two. managed to pressure my SA into giving me 2pcs hehe (but i didnt take the keychain).

it's a good quality golf umbrella.

sharing another tip that works well for me - the SAs are very concerned about the Honda post-customer satisfaction survey. So I told my SA before my car arrived... pat him on the back and said "if you take care of me well & give me the car w/no issues by your committed deadline, I'll take care of you on the survey."

He took care of me, so I'm returning the favor by giving him a good survey response. Also got his branch mgr's email and will drop the mgr a word of praise.

Stuff like this doesn't take much time from us + little effort, but it goes a long way to these guys. If you make your 'deal' upfront, the SAs will know what to do + more incentive to be super nice to you

tot one bro here shared the checklist on earlier post, u can check it out. generally i think car itself should be ok one because it is new. should not have any prob.

just make sure the comestic condition is still in tip top, no single scratch etc.

and make sure the documentation the engine no, chasis no etc matched. else later u will have big prob.

i think it's synthetic leather or half leather only, yat's why 2 tone color ?

all i can say, regardless what color, if you dont take care of it, it will leave stains and water mark.
just apply paint protecting or wax, and your problems and worries are solved.
mine if pearl white and no problem at all. wash once a week.

Say what you like, brothers, next time when u want to sell, then you will know the value of white compared to other color .

hmm... the service guy tell me they only "checking" on 1st service. nth change... 

it is not necessary. from a lot of website, u can see recommendation not to change engine oil so early for new car. 

that's part of the reason. before first oil change, engine parts are brand new w/little coating on them... longer u drive. the more lubricants in the engine oil (rich in molybdenum, a mineral) will coat the parts properly, leading to better FC.

this is called "breaking in" the engine. newer engines don't need such a long time to break in, vs older engines.

ya, i do agree the often auto-stop can be quite irritating something especially during jam. 

Try Changing to L gear during heavy traffic jam. Then change back to D when the traffic is smooth or S when u wanna get home quick.
