My update.

As i calculate the fuel consumption, i found that the onboard FC computer is not bad and quite accurate.

My last average FC before refuel was 18.9km/l (displayed in MID). I refuel early this time, before the indicator blinks and about quarter needle before empty. Already traveled 560km. Paid rm55.80 full tank = 29.37 liters. It works out 19.06km/l.

Not bad at all considering that tank I speed up the car to 160-180km/h all the way from pagoh to ayer hitam, plus fetch my wife daily (short trip), plus jam in KL last weekend (federal highway friday afternoon).

Current tank i able to maintain average 22km/l so far. My target after 2nd service, i should be able to achieve 25km/l average. Hypermiling is fun.

Josh, mind sharing which area. Not all SC provide that. Well, not in Terengganu as I was told..

I went to Shah Alam service center. He mentioned is standard for all Honda Insight to changed semi oil instead of mineral.

Sry not lumps like patches of water
*
That is caused by water left too long on ur car roof and dried with dust around it. U can use claybar to remove it, if it's too stubborn, u may need scratch remover/polish.

U can try this

Anyone tried using the new Petronas Primax 95 Xtra on their Insight?
If yes, kindly share the feedback on the FC and difference in performance
*

Where got JPJ compliance install HID. If u got flagged with the problem installing HID, they will issue u a summons for modification on light which doesnt come OEM with the car. No way it's JPJ approve unless u send ur car to Puspakom and let them approve it. Else, the shop just lie to u.

the beta package lighting are link together with your front light. if you start the car or open the door nothing will happen  unless you switch on the front light. the bad site of the lighting is on the passenger and driver side is a bit dim compare to the middle lighting. Problem is there is a light socket intact to our dashboard and when they put the light at the socket, i feel the height and the angle is somehow something wrong. Too high position and did not light the floor but more inside the dashboard.

anyway different people have different idea about it. mine, i am not satisfied with the OEM beta lighting..
*
Can u take photo where the light actually connected to? I have the intention to DIY but dun wan to void warranty. My previous Myvi n Vios I also DIY with LED. If know the sources of power maybe I can have a DIY session for all Insight member to install footlights in cheaper cheaper cost. smile.gif

hi ,

MY SA told me that the spare key cannot be used to start the engine as it don't have the immobiliser.
It's only used to open the door only.  Is that true ?
*
Yes u can, all u need to do is disable the alarm with the Cobra PIN u have.

If not wrong the clicking sound u referring is the ABS reset. It's also happened on my previous Myvi & VIOS that has ABS. Nothing to worry.

Is the mugen kit that are sold in Malaysia a imitation product? The 3.5K mugen is an imitation of the original, as told by te seller himself
*
Yeah! The seller himself aka Jason said he bought from Japan and mold it and that's the reason the price is expensive and hard to find. sweat.gif

Wei... Urs so nice ler... Can i know how much? Can ship to me arr??? Vy nice den mine de.

The LED cost RM8 per stick power with 12V so no need to add resistor. 1 stick built-in 3 bright LED.

So need 2 stick + wires to extend the length. No wire need to cut smile.gif

Damn, my hand are so itchy to DIY now tongue.gif

My previous DIY on my myvi before I change to vios then now insight smile.gif
