Did you asked the same question in a few places before? IIRC it was answered.

Why are you doing the company HR's work?
*
nope. I didnt ask anywhere before.
So pls advice me if you know.

haha.. .well.. the company that wana hire me is too small and without HR department.
The boss himself helps me to apply the permit.
But afterall, he said TWP is not available online. Thus he asked me to apply myself.
doh.gif

So whoever knows the procedures or anything, pls advice.
tkz.

Dear Venicelim,

My company have done a lot of Training Employment Pass before..

Just for your info that, Training Employment Pass can be apply online..

Procedures is like this.

1) Company log into EP online.
2) Key in Sing pass and Pin
3) Select company and Proceed
4) Agree the term and condition
5) Click APPLY
6) Click Training Employment Pass

proceed with the application.
If you haven't complete the Degree.. please indicate UNDERGRADUATE at the education section.

And remember to key in at least 2 education detail  - High school and Uni / college.
I send you a sample of the TEP stuff...

Sample TEP Form.doc - detail that you need
Updated TEP Application form - If you submit manually...
Cheers  thumbup.gif
Good luck

Hi, danny, thank you for your advice. Very helpful.

I pm-ed you my questions on TWP , but i paste it here as well..

"Yes, i am undergraduate.
Previously i mentioned to my employer about TEP.
But they said TEP is only for salary >SGD2500.
And since my internship attachment only got SGD700, so they said cant apply TEP.

Is that true? How do you often help to apply for TEP? Does all the candidates have >SGD2500?

and yes, I do want to continue at singapore after internship attachment, thus hoping to convert to EP after that too ^^

By the way, You mentioned about the steps to apply TEP online.
But how is the procedure to apply TWP online?
Pls guide me.
Cz my employer told me that TWP cant be processed online.
So if you can tell me how to step by step click to apply for TWP, I can try to tell my employer the method instead.
Else, they want me to go to submit the form manually which i think very inconvenience for me and manual submission will take longer time.

Your advice is very needed.
Hope to hear from you as soon."

Anyone who knows, pls advice me as well.

Thanks.
Cz the company that is going to hire me is really a very very small company which has no HR and admin staff at all.
Thus, the boss not so sure on all this thing. Causing me to have to go through all this queries and concerns.
And it is really hard to get to MOM cz currently i am in KL.
I really appreciate the help from you guys here.. notworthy.gif

yay, i finally found a place to rent, its either in tanjong pagar or tampines,

im working in tanjong pagar tho, axa tower, not sure which to pick, anyone can help me with the pros and cons?

tanjong pagar = $1k
+very convenient, everything is around
+walking distance to office
+let me sleep a bit more in the morning
+owner allow friends to come along
+light cooking
+aircon
+everything is provided, tv, internet, fridge, washer, dryer, f/furnished
+private owner, no agent fee
+owner friendly, (first impressions count)
-hurt a lot on first deposit, about $2k+ iinm
-will not left much amount of saving
-sometimes need to behave or on curfew since owner got little daughter
-basically the negative side is only on money

tampines =$650
+this is cheap
+able to save more money
+can cook whatever
+wireless internet
+fridge, washer, dryer
+can enjoy shopping later on
+MRT will be near to Changi, easier flight, but im not really a frequent flyers,
-a bit far from MRT, 20 minutes walking, but accessible by bus
-a bit far from convenient store, some even open till 10pm only
-+its a flat, so friendly neighborhood, quite crowdy, acceptable
-need to pay agent fee half the rent price
-house owner not really 'that' friendly, so im gonna feel weird around a bit
those are some of the pros and cons i listed out, will be staying for 6-7months only, hopefully fellow forumers can help me to pick.

money first, or convenient the best? will be working weekdays 9am-6pm tho
*
with your salary for internship attachment, will u be able to cover for tanjong pagar $1k room rental and also your daily expenses, transportation and all that?
else, i think should look for cheaper room while trade off convenience.

P and Q passes are considered E pass.
http://www.mom.gov.sg/foreign-manpower/pas...es/default.aspx

There are 3 types of Employment pass >> P1, P2 and Q1.

Good luck if u plan to use StarHub. I am using it. If u make a call in Yio Chu Kang MRT and travel trough to Sembawang MRT. the call will get disconnected 4 times.
I tried it numerous times, it always happen. Their 3G also not very good as well. I will switch Singtel when my contract end. Their coverage is the best although its pricey.
*
But a lot of my friends taking Starhub voice + data plan.
I thought Starhub's line better.
I didnt use any data plan before, so not sure how is the signal.

Oo I went to Expo just now to check out the Courts sale. Since I've only been in SG a few weeks maybe I haven't got a proper "sense" of the strength of SGD, but a lot of things there seem damn cheap leh. $10 irons, $3xx 32" LCD TVs, $2k 47-inchers, etc etc.

Too bad I dun have apartment yet so couldn't really buy ...
*
hey, any telco company having promotion booth at there?
I thinking of singing up but waiting for promo.

hey, generally if it is for own use, no tax.
Btw, saw your signature there put currect phone Iphone4 and HTC.
Wana ask you, which one you think better? Since you are using both now.
Pls advice me on the comparison such as the camera quality, sound quality and processing speed etc when use.
Cz i am tinking wana buy Iphone or HTC with the SG telco package.
& pls dun ask me to view the mobile thread or to check the comparison in google or any other website.
Pls advice if you can. bcz i am to ask your opinion after you use both.
Bcz I have been looking through the mobile thread on both this phone. But what I need now is the direct comparison from user,
especially as you are using both now.

To apply for the work passes application form, there are columns to fill in 2 education details.
education detail (1) I put my current degree
education detail (2) should I put my foundation in science or should I put SPM?
and if i put SPM, I need to provide SPM cert right, but the cert is in bahasa melayu, not english. Do I need to find certified translator to translate it?
Cz it is stated that"Documents which are not in English must be translated in English by lawyer/high commisioner/embassy" Does this applies to SPM cert as well?

Up to you.

You can put SPM cert, doesn't need to have certified to translate the SPM Cert.

For Malaysia SPM/STPM Cert is acceptable by MOM.
*
But then if I put SPM,

name: Can I put bahasa melayu , e.g. SMJK bla bla bla.. or do I need to put it as bla bla bla High School
faculty: ?? Since high school only have aliran sains/sastera. should I put Science for aliran sains?
specialisation: ?? Science again?

pls advice..
urgently need to apply permit as soon.
tkz.

Last time I filled up, they did not bother about my second highest.
Just interested in the highest.
Anyway, not sure if this could help, MOM actually understands Malay.
My sister-in-law study in AIMST University so when she filled in, she assumed MOM would want it in English.
She got rejected (not exactly sure of the reason).
Later, when we were doing some digging on why she was rejected (EPEC passed but EP failed :s :s )we actually found out later that MOM actually had her university in their list of recognized university, except it was in Malay.  sweat.gif  sweat.gif
*
ok. tkz for the reminder. thumbup.gif
I have checked the list of recognized university and has made sure that the uni name I filled is matching the name in their list.

anyway, my
education details (1) I put uni degree
education details (2) I put high school,
with name : SMJK bla bla bla
faculty: Science
specialisation: Science.

Hope it goes right...
pray hard..
