under RM300 border, fullface can get either Indonesian-mari helmet (KYT, RC7, MDS), LS2, Thai-mari Index or SOL. if flip up / modular around that price, most of them are non-reliable brand aka cap ayam one. for me, I prefer SOL since its sparepart is easily available.

However, during emergency, if u REALLY REALLY need to brake to avoid something, you have these options:
1. Brake hard on front, and the bike will try to get up to go straight and no longer make the turn. You have the risk of going to the other side of the road.
2. Brake hard on rear, and you will slide, but end up on the road. Be prepare to roll or slide on body armor.
3. Straighten up your bike, and brake hard on front and prepare for head on collision. Lower your body so not to get thrown over board...

1. Brake in straight line before making any turn. Slowly reduce throttle, but don't chop. Reason: if you chop throttle, and open again, the bike will jerk. You need it smooth when exit corner later.
2. Look into the corner, find the riding line, identify the apex. Look for the position where you will arrive in 3-5-10 seconds.
3. Position body, weight on the footpegs, and make sure outer knee and hip is in contact with the bike. The inner leg just the foot weight on the pegs.
4. Adjust the body weight to make the bike turn. Try not to apply any force on steering. Maintain body facing forward. Do not twist body.
3. Start the turn maintain the throttle and speed.
4. Once you hit the apex, open the throttle and recover.
