Oh, and btw, last I talked to Alvin from http://helmetpenang.blogspot.com/, he's clearing his SOL stock... so really cheap. But, limited color only lah. He recommend me AGV K3 (RM600+) for most budget one... of course I didn't buy lah. This post has been edited by alexei: Apr 10 2011, 11:04 PM

@0163119779: You have "index extreme 2"? Guess it's a Thailand stock this one... if can go direct thailand buy this one very cheap, their helmets quite nice also. How much did u get it for? @Aaron: RM210 and hopefully still got stock... you wanna try do bulk order? Remember this is not flip up. You can arrange COD with him at Autocity, then give it a try. The model below, is actually an LS2 FF384, not FF383. If confirm then it's same model as mine. ==> http://www.mudah.my/LS2+FF383+3+Dream-9136611.htmThis post has been edited by alexei: Apr 10 2011, 11:20 PM

QUOTE(Are_keem @ Apr 9 2011, 10:40 AM) under RM300 border, fullface can get either Indonesian-mari helmet (KYT, RC7, MDS), LS2, Thai-mari Index or SOL. if flip up / modular around that price, most of them are non-reliable brand aka cap ayam one. for me, I prefer SOL since its sparepart is easily available. I found it... the quote is by our esteemed Are_keem bro...

@thianz: Actually shops don't carry many brands at one time... you should take some time go around survey. Now you know all the brands and agak agak the budget, you know what to look for. p/s: LS2 FF384 has built in dark shade, so no need tinted visor liao.
Added on April 10, 2011, 11:35 pm@patrick: yeah, that one I can run with it... very mobile.

Aiks, thought I masuk wrong forum.
@Aaron: when you arrange with Alvin helmet, let us know time date venue and then meet up lah. The AGV K3 is not clearance, it's memang that price.
@Spayz: How much is DC selling the SOL 44S?

@Aaron: congrats... if u worry mom scold, can put at my place. The liner pic, did u remove it or u got a spare set? This helmet got built in dark visor, which is optically sharp, I think, so didn't wanna look for any tinted visor just yet. If I do, most likely the MHR one will work. Check the visor, got label say FF-MHR-15 one. Two LS2 users now. @millenia: Don't brake during cornering. Finish braking before entering. QUOTE However, during emergency, if u REALLY REALLY need to brake to avoid something, you have these options: 1. Brake hard on front, and the bike will try to get up to go straight and no longer make the turn. You have the risk of going to the other side of the road. 2. Brake hard on rear, and you will slide, but end up on the road. Be prepare to roll or slide on body armor. 3. Straighten up your bike, and brake hard on front and prepare for head on collision. Lower your body so not to get thrown over board... This post has been edited by alexei: Apr 11 2011, 07:21 PM

@Aaron: Looking at the bare helmet, notice it has less holes compared to the interior lining of SOL helmet. In comparison, this helmet will have less ventilation.
For me, I compared it to the RM90 LTD fullface, this is more comfortable, especially on the cheek. No matter how cool it is, it's the wearability that counts. I hope you like it.

@patrick: color is weird. SOL helmet (aka GMAX) has better ventilation, about 9-in 10-out. QUOTE » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

@millenia: I'm not sifu. Bro Yus or Serigala please comment.QUOTE 1. Brake in straight line before making any turn. Slowly reduce throttle, but don't chop. Reason: if you chop throttle, and open again, the bike will jerk. You need it smooth when exit corner later. 2. Look into the corner, find the riding line, identify the apex. Look for the position where you will arrive in 3-5-10 seconds. 3. Position body, weight on the footpegs, and make sure outer knee and hip is in contact with the bike. The inner leg just the foot weight on the pegs. 4. Adjust the body weight to make the bike turn. Try not to apply any force on steering. Maintain body facing forward. Do not twist body. 3. Start the turn maintain the throttle and speed. 4. Once you hit the apex, open the throttle and recover. This post has been edited by alexei: Apr 11 2011, 11:31 PM

**Ipoh TT cancelled.
@Yus: I googled it.. and says the job is "To coordinate and handle matters pertaining to repair and maintenance, premises cleanliness and events". Meaning tapau semua barang barang JKR inside the hotels... and you probably don't get to meet customers.
