Hi all, I also want to ask if water pumps are water proof or not?
I ask because my water tank is located on roof concrete slab, so obviously it will be expose to rain.
*
water proof ? nope... dont think so its water proof unless u get a submersible one

Will check whether there is a mat or not.
But the loud sound is not knocking sound, it is more like a low motor roaring sound.

check some of the vids zean shared, then u can see the difference between with mat and without mat..

low motor humming sound ? how "loud" is it ?

Your pump inlet need to be bigger pipe, all the same thickness from water tank to the pump.inlet. from the blur picture you too it look like is using small pipe and only at the inlet a converter is use.
*
pipe in and out all looks same size... 15mm pvc..

usually pump inlet quite large one... so can "SUCK" more water smile.gif

Hi,

I stay in a Condo ( 10 - 15 years old). It uses steel pipes, which have become rusted.
Water pressure is low when 2 pipes are open.
When 3 pipes are on (2 showers & flush toilet), 1 shower can't use.

Will adding a water pump solve this?
*
hmm i'll be more worried about the leaking at the joints when a water pump is installed..

as u said it has become rusted.. when high pressure = easier to burst/leak..

then u got more headache fixing it..
