Hello everyone..
I'm kinda newbie here. I wana ask you guys about my android.
I own HTC Desire HD, my software infos are:

Android version : 2.3.3
Kernel version : 2.6.35.10-g3bf3222
Build number : 2.37.7-7.3 CL56018 release - keys
Software number : 2.37.707.3

1) Now, i want to know if wheter i can root my phone. Because i read in internet that only the firmware version 1.32.405.6 or the lower version can be rooted. Otherwise, we have to downgrade the version back to 1.32.405.6. So what about my phone? Can it be rooted? or there is still no update version for my 2.37 android?

2) Do i need the gingerbreak to root may phone? Or there is new version available now? What i read, the latest available version is 1.20? is it? correct me if i'm wrong. So, can i root my phone? So what is the complete step to root my phone? I rellay wana do it. But still not quite understand how to do it correctly. Or maybe it can be done at Low Yat? Has anyone rooted their gingerbread 2.3.3?

3) Is flash n root the same thing?

Can u guys help me?

TQ
