Hey I need a quick answer, if we root our android mobile, will it delete all of our contacts and sms-es?
*
Depends on the method of rooting.

If its the one-click-root solutions, you won't lose anything, as you are essentially just adding root on top of whatever you had.

If your phone's rooting requires flashing a ROM etc etc to do so, then yes, it will wipe everything. But you can backup and sync your contacts via your google account.

Hi guys,

How do I install or move apps from internal storage to microSD card?

I have tried using App 2 SD before, but it seems the apps are only moveable from internal storage to internal SD only and cannot to microSD.

Internal SD? What phone model are you using?

On the other hand, most phones I can think of that has internal SD has more than enough storage for apps alone hmm.gif

Hi everyone, i having problem with sync my contacts between two android phone. I bought a Nexus 4 and i want to sync my contact from Galaxy W
what i tried is:
from Galaxy W, setting> account and sync > mark auto sync, background data, google account ( include contact) > click sync all
then on Nexus 4 ( already log in the same account when start up)
setting > google account > click my account > option > sync now
but after that, my contacts still empty.
*
Try poking around the options in the W's contacts app to see where your contacts are stored (maybe its in phone memory instead of google), or, try exporting contacts to storage, then import that file into your N4.

Hi, i'm planning to get a samsung phone soon, and let it have internet instead of ipad.... But can i tether the internet on samsung phone to my ipad via bluetooth without jailbreak ipad & rooting/flashing samsung? Coz as i remember, bluetooth on apple device can only detect apple accessories, correct me if i'm wrong....

Tethering via wifi works on all devices regardless of brand, tested tethering via android to iphone and it works.

Will I lose my account and data if I uninstall and reinstall Whatsapp?
I did something and now cannot send out attachments. Plenty of memory space available.
*
Whatsapp saves chat logs in the device internal memory / sd card, so even if you uninstall it just log in to your account and your messages should still be there

Thanx Calex. All went very smoothly and easily, nothing lost....  but still same problem, so I guess it's not the app installation at fault. Attached images from SD Gallery are greyed out with the upload arrow in the centre. If tapped, it moves momentarily then stops. Direct camera pix OK.

Also a problem with LINE when sending pix, says "Cannot use SD. Please confirm SD settings."  SD working normally otherwise, sigh....

What device are you using? Are the said attached images still in your memory card / internal storage?
