depend on your phone maker how they treat their warranty.

as for CSL, i've send 3 phone so far, with custom rom loaded, then they repair me without any question asked.

my motorola defy, rooted and then i send for warranty. ( i flash back stock ROM before send) no problem claiming warranty.

my fren Note, rooted n custom rom, successfully claim warranty..

so its all depend on phone model/maker to void ur warranty
