There's a limit to the phone's read/write speed to the SD card itself. Do check the limitation of the phone first before investing in that class 10. In most devices it is unnecessary to get Class 10.
A lot of the time (in fact, most of the time) the so called speed can be increased by simply modifying the read cache value in ROMs. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1010807 Here's an app to go with it: https://market.android.com/details?id=com.sdincrease.it Do not proceed without understanding what you're doing. ^no harm in getting class 10, just saying it's redundant. It's like getting a ferrari to drive in the city. Fancy, but redundant. I'm using class 4 ok only. Don't see how a class 10 would do any good.
The link i showed you was akin to taking the speed limit and traffic away. This post has been edited by DJFoo000: Jun 10 2011, 11:21 AM |

Yes some devs already incorporate the change into the ROMs when the read cache thing was discovered.

try sending it as a .zip file, ie zip it, send over then unzip. It's a workaround. Android doesn't send certain files AFAIK.

QUOTE(fahrur_07 @ Jun 27 2011, 08:25 PM) I'm sure there's a better way to do this, but I did it using Astro File Manager. To zip: 1) Navigate to the file directory you want to zip 2) Tap and hold the file -> edit -> copy 3) Tap menu -> new -> Zip file -> type in name 4) tap on the newly created zip file to open it 5) paste the file in it To unzip, open the zip file you received, copy the file in it and paste it outside of that zip file. Procedure looks long but I'm just being meticulous. |

^Can Maxis Movies serve your purpose? AFAIK needs to be connected to internet. You don't need to register to check the showtimes.

^it has cyanogenmod settings. I believe it's a themed CM rom.
Changing homescreen based on profile is Scenes, and is indeed a Sense feature. Profiles is to configure how certain apps perform notification based on what the user configures. Like in a meeting, silent, outdoors etc. This post has been edited by DJFoo000: Jul 16 2011, 11:43 AM |

the only workaround i can think of it to use the apps account to log into google when the phone first prompts you to. Then add the 2nd account (email one) in the eMail app.
Or see if you can configure the GMail app to use an account other than the primary (apps) account. |

HTC Sense is HTC's interpretation of the Android OS.
Sense UI is a combination of a few things. It encompasses some feature apps and adjustments to the software as a whole: 1) Mainly the Launcher 2) The famous calander and weather widget that do not work with other launchers 3) The clock app 4) The iPhone-esque magnifying glass (yes vanilla android dun have) 5) The fancy tab-switching mechanism 6) The phone and phonebook 7) Coloured icons in 'Settings'. Basically if you buy a Sense-enhanced phone, you get all those. It's not something you can install in another phone. It only comes with an HTC Android. The eye candy that HTC Sense offers compared to other custom UIs by other brands (Samsung's TouchWiz, for example) does help in decision making. |

QUOTE(XeactorZ @ Jul 19 2011, 11:14 PM) guys really need help here Titanium backup only works if you have enabled 'install from unknown sources' in the Applications setting. Check to see if it's checked.because i just do a factory reset in recovery mode on my custom rom due to have some problem so i use titanium backup to restore the backup that i backup before but, it only help me restore 1 application which total got 30+ now my phone no more problem, but i can't restore application using titanium backup i try off the phone and on again and restore also same what should i do T_T *especially my cut the rope data help !!! Then, reboot into recovery and fix permissions. Worst case scenario is your SD card got problem, or the backup that TiB made is corrupted. Try reinsert the SD card see ok or not. If it still fails: since you already did factory reset, might as well just reflash the rom. Do full wipe: format /data, cache partition and dalvik cache. Then reflash ROM. |

you do have clockwork recovery installed, right? It seems the easiest way I've seen is to boot into CWR through ROM manager. Give that a try.

QUOTE(hseyrann00 @ Jul 26 2011, 12:12 AM) Yes, i have clockword recovery. You need someone more specialised then. The solutions I offered are for general use. The i9000 thread not responding?I was trying to flash a new ROM after the problem keep popping out, But after i wipe data, cache , dalvik cache, it somehow stuck there. So i pull out the battery to reboot the device into recovery. But i cant boot into recovery as it will stuck at the samsung galaxy S screen. >"< but i can go into download mode. |

^things like this happen when ppl treat the 'official thread' as a chatting thread, and questions like these get shoved to the next page in an instant.
