Simple question - what type of protection method do you use as family planning? Due to the fact that our baby boy arrive to this world via c-sec, doctor had advised me not to get pregnant for at least next 6 months. Hence, we need some sort of protection and right now, our choice is to use a condom. What other options do we have? Do share your experience.

breastfeeding is not proven to be a contraceptive method as there are cases that people get pregnant whilst breastfeeding.

i will recommended to used condom.. don't eat birth pill it is not good for future pregnancy and health too..
me and my hubby in this 4 years are still the same.. haven't get ready to get a 2nd child. But might be soon..

...Our doc recommended this method... okay I cannot for the life of me remember the name, but it's where the lady gets something planted into her skin (upper arm, if I remember correctly)... neither me nor the wife enjoy condoms, and she sometimes forgets to take the birth control pills so he recommended -that- method... Okay, a quick google gave me the answer---> Implanon. Supposedly he said this would be the best solution for us. Yeah, as we were told, this method is fit-and-forget for up to 5 years, so no more 'Opps did I or didn't I forget the pills..." or broken rubber...

...dear wife was squemish about the procedure (inserting into the skin and dreads having it poking her under the skin) so until she gets over that and agrees to the procedure, it's up to me to... pull out, for the time being...

Oh, I've heard about that too and same respond like your wife. The thought of having something planted under the skins is just so geli-ish! I guess every couple here is using condom as the protective measure. We dont have to halt for 4 years like some here, just until my wound from the c-sec heals.
