I have an inquiry, here is my question. I owning a HLB gold card which i apply using salary slip year ago(less than 3k). The credit limit are too low, can I increase my credit limit or ask them to upgrade my credit card since I already have Citibank platinum card. Izzit ok by faxing them my citibank cc without the salary slips after the new BNM rules take place. The bank can't confirm my current salary whether fall into 2k-3k range as wat I understand lar.

FYI, I don't have salary slip at the moment for some reason.

first of all, the word "inquiry" is not appropriate, u should use enquiry. Inquiry more toward investigation. tongue.gif

all u need to do is send/fax ur current salary slip in order for them to consider to revise ur credit limit. there're some forumer here merely call in and get their credit limit increase. u may try by just call them.

From what i know, previously bank used your CL/3 as your gross salary. With the new rules implemented, this is an unknown @@

in order to apply CIMB Master World and Visa Infinite card, we need ard 200k income per year. Can I use other credit card to prompt these credit card without telling them my income due to income not more than >200k. And my other credit card need to have how much credit limit to apply it?

shiroikun, yes as mentioned by mushu_pork, if you have HSBC or SCB credit limit higher than RM30K, about RM40K then you may be eligible for CIMB WMC and VI. But it is not 100% automatic and still subjected to CCRIS report and they may even need some additional documents.

Click the link below to read my article post in Nov 2010 where I have mentioned about above matter and also posted CIMB Card Centre Contact Number at Sunway. Call them up and tell them your existing card credit limit and they can on the spot confirm if you are eligible to apply for the WMC/VI.

http://creditcardsmalaysia.blogspot.com/20...ebit-cards.html

Even if you cannot qualify for the WMC or VI with your existing CL, you may qualify for the CIMB VS and get to enjoy same benefits offered to Visa Infinite (but not promotions for MasterCard).

Then i don think i'm qualified for this card, i only having a CITIBANK Platinum Master card with 24k limit...hmm and Public Bank Platinum 24k limit too.
