it seems that maybank is very fast in updating new cards in our maybank2u...but if we cancel one, it takes months+many calls to cs to remove it from our maybank2u...happens to me twice now..

QUOTE(kl87 @ Mar 25 2011, 11:04 PM) did anyone buy mobile phone using the credit card ? ask around today, for AMEX they charging 5% , so even i go buy during the weekend , i earn nothing except the points @@'' but x5 , still very good compare getting nothing by paying cash^,^ anyone knows if there any mobile phone retail accept AMEX and having a lower charges ? or is there any other ways that i can utilize the rebate and getting the points while buying handphone. thx ~ its not correct. you still earn a little bit. this is the example scenario: buy something at $100, pay using amex, so the shop will charge $105 to your amex ($100+$5). you will get 5% rebate for your $105 transaction which is $5.25. that means you still save 25cents which is 5% from what you will save if the shop didnt charge extra 5% i think those major mobile phone shop didnt charge extra..only the small shops charge extra This post has been edited by azam_halim: Mar 27 2011, 12:40 AM

QUOTE(hye @ Apr 22 2011, 12:32 PM) Don't you think it means the same thing ? They "will follow" does have the same meaning they "will implement". New credit card application is already impacted by this ruling and the compliance date for existing card holders would be at the end of this year. well, dont you think the banks should actually tell their customers..esp via mail (they do send out promo in the mail)...heck, i only know about this ruling via this forum only (i dont really watch the news)
