1. Registration Form

You can obtain the registration form from any Orange internet cafe outlet nearby.
If you are from outside KL, you may request the form by sending email to michi.orange@gmail.com or meiyee.orange@gmail.com

2. Payment Method

You may pay by cash when you return the duly filled registration form to any Orange internet cafe outlet.

5 Vs 5 Tournament



Rules and Regulations

Date: 9-10th April 2011

Time: 10am (Tournament starts at 10am, players must be there before 10am)

Location: 18, Jalan 4A/27A, WangsaMajuSeksyen 2, 53300, Kuala Lumpur.

Game Version: 1.7

Players: 5 players per team

Min Teams: 24

Max Teams: 32

Registration Fee: RM 50/team (early bird), RM 80/team (after 2nd April 2011)

Game Type: Search and Destroy

Maps: Backlot, Crash, Crossfire, District, Strike

Tournament Mode: PROMOD 2.11 EU

Game Mode: promod_mode knockout_mr12

Game Format: Group stages – 2 Teams from each group will advance to top 16 double elim.

Map Selection: Double veto.

Friendly Fire: Enabled

Time Start & End

Tournament will begin at 10am sharp. Teams are given up to 15 minutes to be present and accounted for before the tournament begins.
Each tournament round should last between 30 to 45 minutes. Teams are given 5 minutes to prepare and warm up.
Teams are required to be present during the tournament arena should the rounds start early (this way everyone can finish up early).

Side / Bracket Selection

Side selection will be decided by a knife round.
Teams will be randomly put into groups; two teams from each group will qualify for top 16 double elim.

Setup and Configuration

Teams will be given 5 minutes to warm up before the match starts.
No non-standard game settings or third party applications that affect game play may be used.
Teams being caught using either will be punished at an administrator’s discretion.
Demos (replays) of each match will be required by every player. In the event of a dispute, the tournament administrator may need to review a particular match demo. If a player is found does not have a demo, the team is subject to penalties up to and including disqualification at the administrator’s discretion.
Binds including the command 'wait' is prohibited. Skins are strictly prohibited.

Warnings and Dispute

Teams will be given 3 cumulative warnings before being disqualified. Teams that disobey the rules mentioned here for more than 3 times in any 3 of the game matches will be disqualified without question.
Judges/Marshalls decision will be final.
If players wish to dispute about the opposing team, team leader must inform the Marshall immediately of any inconsistency with the opposing team.
Any foolish language or personal threat/harm to any team/player will result is straight disqualification.

Disconnections

If a server disconnection occurs the match will be restarted with the same scores.
If any player from either team intentionally/unintentionally disconnects, the match will continue with insufficient team members.

In-Game Messaging and Communication

Competitors are not allowed to use global in-game chat in an abusive, offensive, vulgar or spamming manner at any point during a match. This includes pre-match, intermission and post-match periods as well.
When a match is live, only team captains are allowed to use global in-game messages. Other players must use team-only in-game messages.
Violators of these rules are subject to punishment at an administrators’ discretion, which may include player suspensions(s) or forfeiture of the match.
All match disputes must be filed by a team captain with the tournament administrator immediately.

Real Time Chat aka Dead Silence


Players can speak to team mates but are not allowed to speak to the competitor. Any abusive, offensive or vulgarity towards the competitor will automatically disqualify the team.
Players can only speak when they are still alive in-game. Once their players are killed they are barred from speaking.

Personal Equipment

Players are encouraged to bring their own gaming equipment but will be required to provide the drivers on a thumb drive for installation if needed. The organizers are not responsible for any fault / damage arising to the installation.
The organizer will not be responsible to provide full equipment to the participants

Explanation of Game Modes

Search and Destroy: Each team is to destroy target A or B by planting a bomb at its location.
Teams must prevent the opponent from defusing it.

Rule Changes

The organizer reserves the right to modify the rules as needed. This includes changes due to software updates or releases, competition committee decisions and all other changes deemed necessary to online tournaments.
Teams are responsible to check the rules on a regular basis and prior to every match to ensure they are in complete compliance. Teams must understand that rules listed are guidelines to ensure fair and competitive play and are subject to interpretation by the administrators based on the spirit of the game.
