Im not sure how it is now because I left Asasi 10 years ago. I think you will be placed in 12th college, which in my opinion is a very good one. You have all the things you need there - cafe, atm, clinic, mini shop, laundry, cybercafe. So accommodation wont be a problem.

Studying environment of Asasi is so different compared to a Matriculation. It is similar to studying for a degree so you have all the freedom which could result in a culture shock if you are not mentally prepared.

In a matriculation, you will feel like you are still in a boarding school while in Asasi, you will feel like a true university student. Being in the middle of KL also does not really help lol. But you can have some fun, just that remember to always study when you must, and dont skip the classes.

Rest assured, Asasi was one of my best experiences in my life. So good luck and welcome to the best University in Malaysia!  biggrin.gif

Hi. PASUM students had been moved to 11th college since last year. Up to my knowledge, 11th college only has PASUM students and few foreign students only. laugh.gif

have anyone tried finishing a degree in 3 years or lesser?

Provided you take extra credit for the course, you could finish it. But you will be most probably face time clashing or the subject you want to take is not offered in the semester. icon_rolleyes.gif

SS17 is quite popular as well.

By the way, seems like here is a secret hideout for Comp Sc people. brows.gif
Add me to the list as well. Major in Networking though.

Do you mind sharing what is the differences between Software engineering, artificial intelligence and network? An I'm quite interested in Bioinformatics course, do you know anything about that course?

Bioinformatics - Use the computing power to calculate the complex mathematics in biology, say DNA arrangement, protein folding. The syllabus contains both biology subjects and computing subjects, but not very deep.
Software Engineering - Memorise and memorise the software development process. Very boring.
Artificial Intelligence - Machine learning, big data, etc kind of cool things. It is getting very popular these days.
Computer System & Networking - Deal with hardware design (logic gates, VHDL, Verilog, etcs) and networking (CCNA syllabus and UM has a very nice Cisco lab).

Oh yes, bioinformatics falls under faculty of science, but not faculty of computer science & technology. smile.gif

Hi, since the UPU results are coming out this 30th, is UM de computer science in artificial intelligence a popular course there?

Hi, Comp Sc is never a popular course to start with, so the management even scrapped the interview away. laugh.gif
