You can gain much experience here, since freshie+trainee will be given opportunity to do hands on task in Project. Regarding salary, i would say not bad for a junior Engineer here. Once u converted into Engineer position, it consider safe ed. I believe i shall not disclose anything more, further info PM me

I got some faculty mate whom are from Hayat but pursuit to SE. there are some took the engineering course as well. So i guess, the answer is yes.

having said that, iinm during my time. we can select which stream to be taken within the orientation week. so why don't u jump to Physical instead if u do like Computer Science?

it's the best part in haluansiswa. the rest were just pointless activities. don't let the PM bully you if it goes over the line. nothing to be fear within the Haluansiswa week, you will never by any chance dismiss from your faculty or college if you go against the the PMs. n all the so called Pembantu Mahasiswa is just nerdy college's slave anyway. LOL

LOL, sorry if u got offended redscorpy. i dunno bout othe college but at my college it was. so annoying la those PMs. shout here n there trying to show whos the boss here. some even cross the line by torturing juniors for no particular reason, this is not a boarding school era mind them.

afaic, no. But they got Symphony orchestra and each college will be take participant in annual event called Festival Seni. Don't know if it's relevant though to your question but that's all i can give.

UM was not the best for engineering courses, they pretty much popular in Medic, Dentist, Sastera & Science. For Engineering, UTP & UTM comes into mind faster.

but heck, UM is the best University in Malaysia thus far albeit the recent useless Uni ranking. So i suppose it's a good decision.

as far as i can recall, FSKTM of UM offer two kind of bachelor degree which is Bach of Computer Science and Bach of Information Technology. There are 4 majoring breakdown for Comp Science :

1. System & Networking.
2. Software Engineering.
3. Artificial Intelligence (dunno if they abolish due to lack of participants)
4. MIS.

while for IT:

1. Multimedia.
2. Management.


u mean like CCNA, oracle? it's handle under 3P.

I'm one of the FSKTM graduate major in System & Networking. My definition of good is :

1. Lecturers with not just good but extreme network knowledge.
2. Hands on experience with networking devices (Cisco).
3. CCNA academy curriculum.
3. Employment market - regard highly by companies.

but, if programming running in your vein SE is better choice. There's no much network programming teach in FSKTM.

For me, one thing i regret is the lack of Unix/ Linux in term of materials & lecturers. Sure there a loads of articles and tutorials available in the net, but if i can have one particular lecturer to teach me the art of Unix it would be much healthy.

wow, despite all the hiccups and uncertainties. kudos to VC Ghauth for this achievement. at least his vision begin to bears fruit.

i don't think it's compulsory, but it's worth to buy n wear for The Day.
