moreover RIM is not some small start up company... they re one of the largest hardware and software maker who has existed for a long time...

u may argue that it's the first time they make a tablet... but i dun remember Apple, Motorola, Samsung etc flopping up their iPad 1, Xoom and Galaxy Tab like this as well... (but Apple flopped iPhone 4 )

hardware problem will always have a serious implication, unlike software which u can juz update it quietly and act as if nothing has happened...

i google and android have no kick ass drawing app yet ... the sketchbook is ipad and yet to have update to optimise Tegra 2 ... haizzzz ... still go back to ipad then ...

anyone experience some trouble downloading apps in android market using Honeycomb tablet? i try download apps like Flash Player 10.3, Angry Bird, Wyse.......... & some. but failed. come out error msg 'this item cannot be download in your country'

i think transformer works out fine for those with desktop and need something portable with word,excel,etc ...
dam ... not sure to get this or ipad ... main factor for me is apps now ...

not hard to choose for me. just two words different or in general for these different OS.
iOS = Simplify
Android = Flexible
choose the 1 you more prefer.
I'm more interested now on any next Android 3.1 tablet.
will be bit dilemma in iconia, transformer, next galaxy tab.

basically Xoom is setting the standard for Android tablets, since it's the first of it's kind... Google juz put in watever they want to ve into it...

Galaxy Tab is sort of Samsung's own take on Android tablet... as always their main competitor is iPad (and not other Android tablets), thus removing so-called bloat expansion ports to keep it slimmer than iPad2... in a nut shell, if u want all sorts of expansion ports, Galaxy Tab is not ur cup of tea...

honestly imho Galaxy Tab has surpassed Xoom in many aspects...

for a start, it's slimness and weight are already unmatchable... of course this is at the expense of all the expansion slots and stuff... but frankly even with only 16GB, it will be sufficient for me... never find myself needing microSD on the original Galaxy Tab...

Xoom has the advantage of being a Google Experience device, so it will be the first to get the updates... however Asus, Acer and even Samsung are pretty aggressive this time round when comes to updates... shows u how much custom UI are screwing it up...

as i ve said, Xoom has set a benchmark, but those that follows will only get better...
