You mean the Galaxy Tab 7.7 is still too big? Well, in that case, only alternatives are those 5"+ smartphone-tablet hybrids.

If they can slim down the Transformer while packing in the Tegra 3's power and still keep battery life and give us a matte IPS screen, that price increase imho, is worth it.

Doesn't seem to be the case now is all I can infer. But to be honest, the huge different in the design will make docking those 2 different gen parts together look very awkward.
