QUOTE(eddy230379 @ Apr 14 2011, 11:00 AM) actually ... after going to lots of events & fair i realized that most of the girls are the same but in different uniforms only ... maybe in a few years time they will rotate ... Haha... just walk around, and say 'Hi' to the models that we may have known as a courtesy lor. Yeah, maybe in another few years they probably will have new "leng mou"s Since I have shot too many stills at PC fair/PC expo/ whatever event with the word "PC", just want to try video at least for once as a change. QUOTE(azrinarizz @ Apr 15 2011, 06:52 PM) Just got back from PC Fair. I guess it is one of the worst PC Fair I have been. The promotion this time really suks! One photo from me. Just if you guys are shooting later at Sensonic display area Level 3, be careful that the models are sitting quite close to the background, can easily produce harsh shadows.

That's the best I got.. Shooting in the middle of a jam-packed crowd, I don't have the patience to check my shots. Otherwise, find a different angle, or totally use large aperture lens with high ISO body like FF bodies if you have the luxuries..
Or ask Agnes to stand a bit front from the background. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « This post has been edited by geekster129: Apr 17 2011, 12:53 PM |

QUOTE(junior5417 @ Apr 18 2011, 11:23 AM) More like an investment path. If you use a DX lens in a full frame body, you will get sexy vignetting in your photos. So, if you own an FX lens now on a crop body, maybe it won't make any difference, but it will shine when you've decided to upgrade to an FF body like D700 or D3. |

QUOTE(loverjinx @ Apr 18 2011, 11:45 AM) haha this is their marketing strategy ma ! if you wanna take their pictures then must be in front of your advertising board ! this is called hardselling ! Hardselling indeed.. Like that I better shoot the Korean girls poster just opposite to the Kaspersky booth. Added on April 18, 2011, 11:52 am QUOTE(junior5417 @ Apr 18 2011, 11:50 AM) Like I said, it depends what path you will go. Like me, now I only have 18-105 and 50mm, so if I move on to full frame next time, the only lens that will not be usable will be the 18-105. That's why I have to plan my purchase carefully now. But, FF definitely will be on my way. Celciuz should have this experience when he go from D90 to D700. I think during the analog days, pro or not pro, you have to use FX lenses, right? correct me if I'm wrong, since film is 35mm full frame format, anyway.

QUOTE(hsienming @ Apr 18 2011, 05:03 PM) aiyer PC fair lighting so bad one.... lucky didnt waste my time n money go there shoot.... total waste of effort The Kaspersky's booth, tungsten light from the top, natural light from the right, flash light from the front, all kinds of lights blended together like one big bowl of rojak in the scene.... what can you expect??? Meh, no need to take PC fair so seriously one lar. It's not that you're doing a professional shooting for the models or something. You ask a model to pose for you, within seconds, 4-5 photogs will follow you. So, just shoot for fun lor... Wait till you shoot at MVEC.. ptui!
