I think the iTunes set it to 4.2.1. Try to set it 3.1.3 but failed. It keep stop at activation part. Which hactivation software for it?

i want to upgrade firmware 4.3.1
and my 3gs is a new baseband.
which redsnow version should i use? 

erk how to explain.. before this.. my firmware 4.2.1 and i used redsn0w_win_0.9.6rc8. Every time i turn off or restart my iphone, i have to used 
redsn0w_win_0.9.6rc8 to turn on the iphone.   

What I mean is, if I restore to 3.1.3. The restore process failed. So only successfully restore to 4.2.1. Which shud I use to hactivate my iPhone?

But I always failed at the DFU part. The press timing  part.

Hehe... I think I don't really understand this method. When i got the phone, it already not being used since Oct last year. I charge it and restart it it already repeatedly rebooting and stuck in apple logo for 8 hours. So I restore it using iTunes, itune restore it to 4.2.1. Then the phone can start up but it now locked and cannot proceed to home screen cause cannot activate. So I never see what inside the phone before, whether it is jailbreak before or not. What I know it is my friend sister gave to her said Malaysia set.that all I know. What thesister done  before, sorry I dunno. And my frien and I also new atmosphere iPhone

look for the model number
it should be MCxxxxx

I insert SIM card. No response. ITunes ask to insert compartible SIM card. I never able to enter home screen so I can't acres the setting-general-about. Sorry for being troublesome, really dunno what to do.

what is the possibility cause if my iphone showed unable to retrieve network list in my carrier setting. unable to make any call and showing no service. This iphone  installed with 4.3 and jailbreak previously. Is it jailbreak failed?

I not sure. this iphone 4 is given by sumone. He used it in Malaysia before but he giving away cause he is oversea now. i tried restore to IOS 3 but keep getting error 16** and 3***. follow the steps  to solve the errors searched on the web still cant restore.

when get it no problem one, but sumone jailbreak it with IOS 4.3    now i am in charge to solve the problem

question, i have already downloaded 4.3.2 from itunes
can i install the 4.3.2 from itunes and JB with redsn0w?

or i need to download 4.3.2 from redmondpie?

But the restore is with update the firmware one wor. Click restore will only can choose restore and update and cancel if i not wrong.

dear all, ive just jailbroken iphone 4 4.2.1 version.when i clicked into cydia, its show " this device is in the pending TSS queue"..can i know what does is mean?

everytime i jailbreak all my apps sure not in the folder. How can i jailbreak easily to maintain folder position?

OK im getting super worried now, because my restore has been at the same bar since 40 minutes ago doesnt seem to move :sob:

Dont really understand that.. But yest 4.3. and 4.3.1 is 2 different builds. What version are u trying to jb to?

Dear pros, I am a newbie on this topic. I have been reading a number of articles on the net, but still not sure of certain things. I am currently using ip4 with iOS4.3.1 (8G4) with firmware 04.10.01. Questions:

look like apple disable saurik site hosted in Amazon.
there a delay on 4.3.1 and 4.3.2 jailbrake due to the different scripting shsh blob made my apple.its tough for them.but hell now,iH8snow (ultrasnow) are getting smarter.
