Try run redsnow as xp mode.

Found some article similar but old version redsnow.

Last time having issue with buuf theme on 4.1 cause the theme is design for ios3

Eventually they fix it. Now got HD version for ip4

I think u need admin rights, cause u need install dfu mode driver.

if you download the IPSW with IE, you will get the file in .zip

just rename it to .ipsw

better use firefox to download the IPSW file.

There is no limera1n jb for new ios

i read somewhere redsn0w dont work with multi processor evironment.

better get those old CPU with single core.

no issue very smooth, on 64bit win 7 pro.

1) 4.1 jbed
2) backup
3) shift+restore ios4.3.1
4) restore from backup
5) pecah penjara with redsn0w (run as admin, xpsp3 mode)
6) install back require tools from cydia

Ringer sbsettings dont work for ios4.3.1, cant mute/unmute your ringer.

Lucky the kill background sbsettings work. Most important to kill apps, free up memory, save battery, save home button usage.

Why? The button will eventually spoilt if frequently use. Saw alot people complain stuck button.

Added on April 6, 2011, 9:24 pmLoading lowyat forum on ios4.3.1 is very fast. Any other website with alot of graphic dont few any different on loading time.

Did notice batt drain abit fast. Maybe my imagination, will monitor for now.

To avoid usage on home button as much as possible, use kill background sbsettings.

redsnow cant custom cook ipsw, but only can do ipad baseband.

i think better u use snowbreeze to cook custom ipsw to preserve baseband

Lol 4.3.1 on 50% at 11pm wakeup dead batt.

Nono for 3gs, going downgrade to 4.2.1.

If 4.2.1 bad, will roll back to 4.1

Any new version of itunes should work as long u can update to ios4.3.1

2nd test on 3gs battery on iOS4.3.1,

So far run for 21h standby, 4h usage. Still have 35%

The reason for the drainage is wifi, must off if no use. Last time no off at all no issue.
Also turn off my notification and location just in case.

Added on April 8, 2011, 8:13 amNotice the ios4.3.1 wifi abit kuku, sometime cant load data, have to off and on again.

Dont have this issue previously. Suspect wifi got bug.

Maybe ios4.3.2 will patch this bug that apple gonna release soon. Also will patch the jb untethered.
