err.... was i in error...? or the book's expensive....?  unsure.gif  unsure.gif
I haven't seen or smelt the book either. Anyone got a copy to lend?

BTW I've decided to stop praying. It seems the more I pray, the worse it gets. I think I need to do more soul searching first before doing the comet searching.

Are both ebay and amazon cheaper than Popular? The chinese name of the book is 哈勃太空望远镜观看宇宙. It's written by 野本阳代.

Yes, there is English version but I can't find the same book in the same colour in English. That's why I can't give you the link.

Hey guys, since none of us remembered to shoot last night's full moon, gold3knight has put up a thread here: http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopic=350086. delicious!

Back to our current issue; the English book goes by the title "The last days of SL-9" by Mr Hubble T. tongue.gif

I shot one just now and it's posted in my blog. I didn't shoot the Moon last night although it was at perigee. You have to wait until 1:00A.M. if you are interested in the photo as the system will only post it at that time. smile.gif

I am going to get a wedge soon to enable my telescope to be operated in polar mode. It's time to go into deep sky imaging! laugh.gif

For a decent telescope, $2000 to $3000 will be enough. I just used my Konica Minolta Dimage Z3 at 12x of optical zoom to shoot the Moon. However, you can check my blog for Moon photos taken in telescope.

You are getting one free in exchange for helping him promote the imager? Brilliant!

Actually, I am going to help him to create a portal for his imagers. I will be doing it once I have finished my examination.

What with all the haze, I saw the moon this morning and decide to grab a shot. Who knows when we'll see it again.

Nice one. The Moon is so dark these days caused by the haze.
